TWO DAYS LATER
I excitedly rushed down the stairs as soon as I heard Michael's car arriving in front of the house.
I was at the last stairs when the living room door burst open and Michael walked into the living room
“Someone seems excited to see me” he uttered teasingly and paused in his tracks, his hand opening for an embrace
I ran to his arms, wrapping my arms happily around his neck. “Welcome back,” I whispered in his ears and looked at him. “I missed you,” I uttered in sincerity.
