“No” I uttered sharply, getting out of the pool instantly “You can't do that” I added, staring at the cops fearlessly
“I'm sorry Mr Derick but Miss Lillian has to come with us to the station”
“But she didn't do anything!” I yelled, glaring at them, but they just stared at me with serious faces, devoid of any sort of emotions.
“leave us to find out about that” one of the men uttered, walking past me to help Lillian out of the pool
“Get off her” I instantly uttered, pulling him back aggressively
The cop just chuckled, adjusting his shirt and fixing his gaze on me. “Are you her boyfriend or her stepbrother?”
“What do you mean?” I asked, glaring at him while Lillian squeezed the water from her hair
