Micheal's POV
“What did you….say” Lillian asked, stammering on her words.
“I love you, Lillian. I don't know how it happened, but I know I've fallen deeply in love with you to come out,” I said, and she shook her head in denial, staring at me in disbelief.
“no, no that can't be. You can't, Micheal,” she said, and I frowned.
“Why?” I asked, clearly not understanding the reason why she thinks it's wrong to fall in love with her.
“You're married, Micheal,” she said, and the frown disappeared from my face “You're not just married to anyone. You're married to my Mom”
“I know but we can_” I tried to say but she interrupted me
“There no but Micheal. Whatever we have with each other has to end. We can't continue doing this to ourselves. We can't continue doing this to Mom”
She was right.
