Lillian's POV
I could feel Michael's eyes on me, but I ignored them. I didn't want to create any emotion between us so I just avoided his gaze.
“So tell me, Mom, what is it that you're excited about?” I asked, a genuine smile on my face as I awaited her reply.
“I'm expecting twins,” she announced joyfully, and I was stunned.
I wasn't expecting that news and I just stared at her, unable to form a word. I moved my gaze to Michael and arrived at a discovery. He was a very fast shooter and also a successful one.
I was glad we weren't meeting secretly again, so there was no need for me to be cautious whenever we had s*x with each other.
“Wow, congratulations, Mom,” I uttered, dragging her closer to me gently and engulfing her in a warm hug.
