Chapter 4 -Present Day

Morgan POV

Beep Beep Beep beep

'OK ok ' l mumble to myself as l try and find my alarm still half a sleep.

"Right come on, Morgan we can do this" l have no idea who I'm talking to l just hope l can pep talk myself awake

As l slowly get up l study my room its not much, the window is beyond pathetic but at least l have my own bathroom which is nice so l don't have to bother them down stairs as l go in l admire my plants on the window ledge l have them in here as there is more light due to it having a bigger window.

My bedroom is more in the loft section so the window is only a tiny hatch but the bathroom is decent and has good sunlight that my plants seem to love. l have 2 one is a little pink rose Bush. l just love the scent of them and the other l have no idea what it is, l found the sad looking plant during my work last month and decided to take it home l didn't think l could save it but today it has gone full bloom with beautiful purple flowers which have a subtle woody scent to them l was going to look it up just to see what it is, but lately I've been so busy with work and exams l haven't really had time for much else.

This week is my final week of exams soon l hope l will be able to find a collage far away from here to study. I would love to be a chef l seem to have a natural ability with food, and I just find it relaxing working with it, especially when l make recipes l feel like lm making a potion sometimes...... ok that is sad but when your a human in a wolf pack you have got to have a bit of an imagination.

You see l found out l was wolfless at 14 and since then l have become pretty much an outcast in the pack.... but really what use am l to them? l don't have their stenth or speed but l do have excellent hearing above human levels and eye sight, but l think that’s a bit of a throw back. l never get invited to the pack meeting or to train and I'm always excluded from any gathering that they have. The last one they actually slammed the door In my face and l thought

"f**k them". That was the day l decided lm going to save my money, work my ass off studying pass my exams and get the hell away from here as soon as they finish lm ready to go I'm actually excited about it it's so close.

Not that my family would care ever since the day he (James my dad) found out l was human he and my so called twin have treated me with compete resentment and distane like when l come back from school, to find l was being put in the loft space although they built the bathroom up there too l still felt like l was being dumped like unwanted furniture, but l I'm pleased now, l don't have to see them. All l do is occasionally use the kitchen when they are at pack meetings, the rest of the house l don't bother with I'm not welcome in any other room anyway.

After my shower l get ready for collage and start my walk l can drive but lm saving my money for when l leave. l still have the job with Jack and although he is very antisocial l’m still going to miss the big dude when l eventually go. He still has food plated in the kitchen if l work late behind the bar, he never says anything just nods and grunts occasionally but l appreciate the gesture. l even make him the occasion cake as a thankyou l’ve never see him eat it but its always gone in the morning and l always get a nod with a smile the next day which always makes me happy its so rare l get any positive attention..... any is nice.

Finally l get to college it takes me a good 45min walk but its money well saved, anyway a walk does you good l have to keep telling myself.

As l enter the building l take a deep breath to center myself

"Right head down, let's go take that science exam" l think reassuring myself as l go.

I make a quick stop at my locker before dumping everything l don't need yet and take out my revision book and scan through it

"right" l say as l study the pages and begin to walk in the direction of the hall suddenly I'm hit with something hard and land firmly on my ass

"f**k it" l mumble to myself I look up and see what l have run into and standing there looking down at me is Matheson.

" Sorry l wasn't paying attention" l say to him not looking directly at him as l side step out of the way he blocks me so l move the other way, and again he blocks me then he takes a step closer to me and l step backwards again another step forwards l go backwards but now my back is against the wall and he is far too close for my liking l look up to see him place his hands either side of me and is looking me up and down until he reaches my face and ours eyes lock.

"do you mind l need to get to an exam" l say shocked by his attitude

'nope um im good here thanks" he says with a smirk l think that gits actually looking down my top now l try to shove him which l have to say is rather hard especially when your dealing with a rather broad 6ft 4 Alphas son "those dudes are made all big" l think to myself "wait eeeww" Yes lve just realised what l said and l actually smiled to myself what the hells wrong with me!

I stare at him and try barging past ..nope that actually made it worse somehow he is pressed even closer and know he has bent forward so his nose is now pressed in my neck and he is actually sniffing me

'What the hell Matheson..." l stop for a second as the sensation has made me weak at the knees slightly as a shudder ripples through me lucky he is holding me up even if one of his hands dangerously close to my boob as his other hovers close to my ass.

He suddenly pulls back looking shocked, as l slump he catch me and pulls me up straight thats when l finally come to my senses and shove his arm out of the way and storm forward, suddenly without warning I'm grabbed and these arms wrap around my chest somehow he manages to pull me into him and has his nose again nuzzled in my neck I'm now completely mortified there are now people watching including my also mortified sister. l did smile inwardly wondering if we were pulling the same open mouthed face but its not funny lm completly trapped thats when l realise the time and I'm going to be late and miss my exam so l begin to struggle l mange to shirk his nose away and now we're face to face l notice his eyes they are complete black meaning Samson has taken complete control

"Samson please let me go I’m going to be late, please" as l beg him l see his eyes shimmer gold as Matheson is trying to take control back lm let loose slightly just for the grip to tighten again l begin to feel him react to my ass being pressed against him seriously l couldnt be more embarrassed, now I'm starting to get pissed off.

" No your going to leave you cant l won't allow it" he growls into my ear.

Now I'm f*****g pissed how dare he decided what the hell I'm going to do he never shows any interested none of them had, and now lm being made to stay for what to be more criticised and mocked for being human to be treated every day by everyone that I'm just a pathetic human and a shame on the pack.

That's when l decided enough is enough and l shove my elbow backwards into his stomach in pain, he finally releases me as l rush to the hall for the bell to go lm a minute away but the door slams shut l rush to it and try to pull it open but its locked l’ve missed my exam, the one that I studied so hard for, not taking this means l will have to wait 6 more months to take it again l begin to feel a rage rising within me one l rarely feel as l block it away l find myself storming up to Matherson who looks embarrassed, he goes to say something but l slap him right in his face and walk off heading to the nearest bathroom l just hope I'm alone l need to be alone right now.

As l enter the bathroom l sigh as lm alone but then l feel it again.... the rage ‘’

"how f*****g dare he what the hell was he thinking" l scream to myself that’s when l begin to feel the tears in my eyes.

"No no please no" im beging myself not to cry as l flap my hands in front of my face but once one falls more follow until l was in a full sob.

"they just want me to stay to make fun of me so they can feel better by looking down on me" I'm so upset l don't realise the atmosphere has changed and the temperature has dipped suddenly between sobs l feel a shudder ripple through my body which makes me stop and l listen its silent but l don't feel alone anymore something is here with me. What ever it is at least it helps to stop me from crying.

As I look around I see nothing then some thing hits, me and lm doubled over as l stand l can feel a pulse build within me it keeps bubbling up it started in my head and now has travelled all over my head all l can hear is a rushing sound in my ears and I feel pressure like I've never had before it keeps building and building l tried to relieve it a bit by covering my ears and closeing my eyes but nothing helps, suddenly the discomfort gets too much and l let out a massive cry of desperation.

"AAAAhhhh please stop please" l chant until finally l feel like something was pushed out from inside of me the force slams me against a bathroom stall l can feel it as it ripples away from me and out of the room.

As l stand straighter l feel better until l remeber what happened

'l f*****g hate him, no l can't l can't let him win" l say with determination

'I'm going to finish my exam then tonight lm going to go l have enough money saved to be alright for at least a couple of months maybe l can work in a restaurant somewhere until l can take my exam again but l need to leave, l can't be around those people anymore" l begin to feel lighter over my plan I'm even a little excited about the prospect of being somewhere where nobody knows how pathetic l am, l may even be able to make a couple of friends that thought starts to make me excited as l exit the bathroom with new hope and head to the library to study.

The hour goes quickly and its lunch and l find myself a spot by a tree l just place my headphone on and ignore the world while l eat my packed lunch and study im so invovled l jump when my alarm.goes off giving me a 10min head start to the exam hall.

lm there with 2 minutes to spare, in line not wasting my chance again, thats when l see him walking past like nothing happened, "what a complete bastard" l say under my breath as l try and rein in my anger again but this time l have a distraction and l head in to my exam although l find myself glancing his way as l enter to see him turn away quickly.

Matheson/Samson POV

Todays the day l can't believe tonight is when l will be able to find my Mate it happens on the first full moon after we turn 21 l’m so excited lve had girlfriends but nothing has ever gone further than a kiss as Samson shows up and makes me leave. We might be an Alpha but my wolf is loyal to his chosen Mate and is determined l am too, its bloody hard living with an enteral c**k blocker so tonight l know once we have found her we are never letting her go she will be MINE all mine.

As l enter the college l can feel him on edge like he is looking for something but it can't be her we won't be sure until the sacret hour in the full moon light.

I find my friends and we head off to class until someone walks straight into me and lands at my feet l can’t help but laught l mean how can anyone miss a 6ft 4 man! as l look down l notice its Morgan l don't help her l just watch her ignore my face as she apologises and gets up that’s when Samson takes over suddenly he’s stalking her backwards until there is nowhere left to go and he encloses in on her, and before l know it he has my nose buried in her neck.

"f**k what the actually f**k are you doing with her" lm beyond embarrassed l mean she is nothing but a pathetic human she gives nothing to the pack everyone is embarrassed to have the first human in our pack in over 150 years.

"get the f**k off her" l scold trying to take control of my body back but he is completely ignoring me.

"Samson would you..."

"GGRrrrrrrr" he growled he actually growled at me what the hell.

" what the hell Matheson" l hear her say then she falls into me l grab her and pull her closer to me l have to admit l am rather liking the sensation l feel but still its Morgan the thought of being this close to her makes me very uneasy and uncomftable I'm trying not to move so l don't press myself against her l feel l may not have control on my other areas either!

"hhmmm she smell amazing can't you smell her" he says while rubbing my.face against her neck.

"No.. shes human she smells like nothing to me its just your damn wolf nose anyway your doing a pretty damn good job for the both of us will you damn well let her go why her there so many other people why.. " l feel my arm is relaxed and I’m finally able to release her but as she turns to stomp off

“oh f*****g hell" l can't believe he grabs her again from behind and has pulled her into us her ass is now rubbing against my groin and l can feel it happily responding now lm fighting him for control l’ve had enough of this.

"your mine you not leaving l won't allow it" l hear him say to her l’m now completely at a loss when and why would she leave no one left the pack unless they found their mate in a diffrent one but that won't happen to her suddenly l felt weird and sort of panicked at the thought of her leaving.

"listen Samson she won't...oooff" l manage as she just elbows me in the stomach and rushing to the hall but its shut

"she must have had an exam Samson why would you do that to her" l scold him

"because she's.... Owwh that bloody hurt she got some slap on her l give you that" he says with a sort of pride l can't understand as she just full on slapped me around face.

l hear him wimper when l catch the look she just given us its one lve never seen before on her its one of pure hate

With another wimper howl he retreats back into my head leaving me to deal with his actions.

"dude what the f**k was that" my best friends Hugh says with shock.

"you full on went..." he shut right up when l gave him a glare.

"It was nothing to do with me it was Samson he’s over excited for tonight" l try and fob him off

"but dude but really look like....OK ok l drop it' he says when l give him a warning look as we make our way into the next class.

The lesson of course is boaring as always history suddenly out of nowhere it felt like a pulse ripped throught the air it was so sudden but stong enough to make Samson Growl in defense it was so odd it almost felt like an emotion was in it, it was one of rage, l look around and even the teacher who was a witch had stopped for a second did he feel it too did it really happen?.

Once the lesson ends it lunch lm starving I'm sitting there but luckily noone has mentioned what happened earlier l think Hugh must have warned them to lay off suddenly Jasper appears and sits with us he's new here and new to the pack

"oohh who is that by the tree l wouldnt mind giving her. " he states impressed by someone as we all look over l realise he’s talking about Morgan.

"Gggrrrrrr stay the f**k away from her" Samson actually uses his Alpha command on him l’m actually in shock he has never done it before.

"ok just admiring" Jasper says with his hands up.

"what the hell is wrong with you" Hugh whisper at me

'it's not me it Samson l can't control him" l say in slight deperation

"It because of tonight shes part of the pack he probably is just doing his protect Alpha bit" he says although l swear he’s just saying it now to make me feel better.

"Yeah ok " lm not even convinced myself.

"how excited are you for tonight you finally can get to find you mate I can't wait" Selena says with excitement l know she is hoping it might be her, she is after all a beta by birthright but l really hope she is’nt there something about her that gets on my nerves she’s defiantly a daddies girl and gest everything she wants, she never works hard for anything it's just given to her especially by her father and my mother dotes on her, probably as she sees so much of her best friend in her whereas with Morgan its like she is invisible. I’m guilty of it too l can't rember the last time l spoke to her apart from todays embarrassing performance .

"im going to make an effort in getting to know her" l say in my head when l feel Samson perk up l swear if we were wolf now he would be wagging his tale.

I'm so lost In thought l jump as the bell goes l look around and she is gone already and as l enter l see her in line for the hall as she goes in l can't help but notice she looks around and sees me and quickly turns around and enter without another glance im walking past and all l can now do is think of her .

"what the hell is wrong with me" I scold myself as l head to my next lesson when it goes black.

Next thing l’m at Selenas house

"what the f**k are you doing now Samson" I'm so pissed.

"shes going to leave as soon as possible and can't let her" he says then shuts me off again.

lm just left in the dark with no idea whats happening.

Samsons POV

l know, l just know Morgan is going to leave soon, l can't let her l know what she is even if Matheson doesn't yet but he will tonight and he will thank me.

l turn up at her house just as he makes his way into our conscious mind.

Once again l hive him a brief answer and manage to black him out again. As l make my way upstairs to her room l know which one is hers, and l can smell her she smelsl of pink roses l just let my nose guide me as soon as l enter her room l can smell her all around and it makes me purr with delight l don't think l would ever get board of that smell it almost addictive.

l have actually no idea what I'm looking for so l start in the cupboard not much here but there is a bracelet in here for what ever reason l grab it, it's black leather with a metal wolf howling in the center l admire it for a minute than notice you can lift the wolf underneath it in silver thread is Samson.

"Mine" l say aloud to no one l can believe ist actually for me, l’m so happy l wish l had my tail so l could wag it l decide to keep it " well it is mine" l say while placing it in my pocket l get up and an idear suddenly hits me so l go to the bed and lift up the mattress and there l find her bank card so l grab it and stare at it for a few minutes l know what I'm doing is wrong l know how devastated she will be when she finds it gone and the thought of it almost makes me put it back but l don't l can', t l need to make her stay just until tonight, tonight it will be diffrent after tonight everything will change

"l promise to give this back as soon as everything is sorted l know shes going to give me hell but lm sure she will understand" l say trying to convince myself what im doing is for the best for all of us.

l can't help but think to myself

"soon l just have to wait a little longer" as l smile to myself and leave l then give control back to Materson and he heads straight back to collage in confusion.
