Jane was asleep when she stretched her hand and she felt a body beside her, she slightly opened her eyes and saw a dark, tall man with a broad shoulder sleeping beside her.

Jane gasped in surprise as she murmured silently.

“Where am I?”

She gently sat up on the bed and looked around the room. The room was screaming luxury!!. it had beautiful wall artwork, and it was spacious with nice decor.

Jane tried to look properly at the man sleeping beside her when his phone began to ring

“oh s**t,” Jane said as she quickly used the duvet to cover her body and use her hand to cover her mouth and nose together to prevent breathing loudly.

“isn't too early for this”. He said as he kept silent for a while and continued talking

“Okay, I will get to you in the next 5 minutes”.

Jane could hear the footsteps descending to the bathroom, she sharply breathed down and stood gently. She gently wears her dress and she tiptoes towards the door. She was about to open the door when the door to the bathroom was opened.

Jane stood still as her mind went blank for some seconds. she is too embarrassed to look back, I mean she just had a one-night stand with someone she doesn't even know. She looked back when she tried to act like nothing happened but she was too stunned to speak as the facial look caught her breath away.

“You need to prove your skills”.

“They were awful”.

Jane patted his shoulder downward and turned around to open the door. She was about to take a step out when she stopped again and looked back at him and continued talking

“Wait a minute, how did we even meet again?”

He chalked in surprise and stared at Jane

“Josh from the bar yesterday” he answered

“oh, Josh. Beautiful name but it doesn't suit you. “ Jane Said and she slammed the door behind her.

Josh exclaimed and moved to the front of the mirror where he stared at himself and smiled a bit when his phone started ringing.

“ Hey man,” Josh said

“ Wassup man, you haven't been replying to your text since yesterday night. Where are you?” He answered from the other side of the phone.

“ Is something wrong with my facial look?” Josh asked, staring at his face in front of the mirror.

“ What.”

“Nothing, Let's meet at my office in a few hours after my morning conference”. Josh answered.

“ Okay. My CEO.” He answered from the other side of the phone as he smiled.

“Oh please stop it, it has not been announced officially”. Josh said with a smile on his face as he hung up the call.

Josh is from a prestigious and wealthy family. The family of Wilson is known for their strong connection and business partnership with companies in the city of New York and with other countries. John Wilson the head of the family passed away a few months ago and he announced in his will that the family company should be given to Josh with only one condition which has not been announced.

Josh ended the call with his friend. He got dressed and called his secretary

“ Meet me in two minutes”.

Josh walked towards the car parked in front of the hotel building. Andrew, the driver to Josh who is always on standby, came down from the car to open the door for his Boss.

“Good morning boss” Andrew greeted as he opened the door to the car.

Josh entered the car as his secretary Rose greeted him.

“What is my schedule for today?” Josh asked.

“ You have a conference to attend this morning”.

Josh interrupted her and said

“ You said that already over the phone, what next”.

Rose continued and said

“ You have some documents to go through as your signature will be needed.”

“J&K Entertainment interview is also scheduled for this morning

“When is the new secretary coming?” Josh asked

“ I will be handing over tomorrow”. Rose answered.

Jane sat properly and continued talking.

“After I left Luke's place yesterday, I was so broken so I decided to go have a drink. I got to the bar and requested 30 shots of vodka”.

Ella interrupted and said

Jane murmured in silence and continued.

“A guy walked up to me and asked if he could join me for a drink. I rejected at first but he wouldn't take no for an answer which I later agreed.”

“ Why will you agree to drink with a stranger?”

“After so many drinks and talking. We were both drunk and intoxicated”.

“ I can't seem to remember all the scenarios at the bar and how we got to the hotel. We got to the room and we had another drink and that is where it all began.
