Lyrella's POV:
I bought the credentials from Phoebe, and got more information about the vacancy in the company.
It had been five days since I was given the assignment which meant I had just seventy days left, and today was the day I would be going for the job interview.
I had messaged their sss and they informed me I would be Tyler's personal secretary. The job details and everything I needed to know, were sent straight to my mail.
I looked out the window of the taxi, practicing the interview with the almighty Tyler in my head.
The taxi soon stopped all of a sudden, making my body jerk forward. I looked at the driver through the rear view, he shrugged before shooting his head out of the window and yelling at the car in front of us that was slowing down the ride.
“Move it!!” The driver yelled.
We waited patiently for the car to move faster but it didn't.
Instead, it completely halted as if it had issues but I knew it didn't have any issue.
I grumbled a curse, grabbing my forehead in frustration, before getting out of the taxi.
“Some assholes just forget to take their manners with them before going for a ride. At least, not on a Monday morning when I'm running late for an interview.” I whispered, my nails digging into my fist as I approached the car.
I knocked on the tinted glass but it didn't roll down. I saw a little fire from inside.
“Who f*****g takes a smoke in a car," I mumbled before knocking on the glass again but harder, then it rolled down.
“What the fu-". The rest of my sentence got trapped in my throat when I noticed it was none other than Tyler f*****g Cole who was in the car. He took off his shades, took a drag and stared at me, boring into me with his ice blue eyes.
I swallowed the lump in my throat, my fist balling tightly as I averted his eyes– the same eyes that were melting my heart.
I managed to gaze at his face again before speaking,
“What the f**k is going on here!! Will you f*****g move your piece of s**t and move the f**k out of my way. At least, if you don't have a job, get one and don't implicate people like me who have meetings to catch up to, okay?!!” I yelled.
"Piece of s**t?.." He questioned before looking back, “.. says someone boarding a taxi".
My teeth gritted in anger. Stretching my hand, I grabbed the cup of coffee in his car and poured it on his face. His jaw dropped as the coffee turned off his cigarette, and stained his white shirt.
“How dare you?!" He growled in utter shock and annoyance.
He wiped some of the liquid with a napkin, before turning to me with murderous blue eyes.
I felt the hair behind my neck stand to the edge, yet I held onto my courage, though it was little.
"You don't f*****g dare mess with me. Next time you try such crap, I'll chop off your stupid small d**k and feed it to the vultures 'cause that's what you look like, asshole!” I spat before turning to leave.
Then I threw the cup at his car and yelled again, “f*****g move this s**t!".
I got into the car, breathing heavily for a while, with a palm on my forehead. The car moved immediately.
“He must have been really scared of you,” The taxi driver said, smiling.
"Well, I think it's vice versa now," I whispered and he laughed as Tyler's car took a different turn. My breath grew shaky at the thought of what just happened but I managed to pretend everything was fine.
We soon arrived at the company and I walked into the building. I was honestly scared as I thought I would be dead meat if I met Tyler again.
I couldn't blame myself though, I couldn’t have arrived late.
What else could I have done to get him moving his ass?!
The receptionist who greeted me directed me to an elevator which brought me to the third floor and another lady led me to a boardroom, stating that would be where the interview would be held and I should wait for the boss to arrive.
She came back after a few minutes, “I'm sorry but an emergency came up and the boss won't be here in a while. Sorry for the delay. Would you love anything? Juice? Water? Coffe-” She uttered, a huge grin across her face as she ran her palm against her skirt.
I chipped in, "I'm fine, thanks,”,
She nodded and left.
Sighing, I sat quietly.
The door soon opened and in came the devil.
He was staring at his phone as he walked in, his long black hair still looking sexy. His lips, as moist as a pudding. His eyes lingered on his phone as a hand was in his pocket.
He finally looked up at me.
I pretended to be shocked to see him, as he also was shocked. He walked to where I was sitting, freezing me with his ice blue eyes.
He shoved the phone into his pockets along with his hot tattooed fingers that I would definitely die for.
Darn it, how didn't I see these magnificent features back on the road?! Was I blinded by…. stupidity?
“Good morning sir" I greeted, lowering my gaze slowly, with my hands in front of me.
“Good morning, miss,” he greeted back, slightly titling his head as he still stared at me with his eyebrows furrowing.
"I… I… uhh... I came here for the… job appli-cation" I stuttered, stealing glances at his face.
Jeez, I already practiced this to be perfect.
What happened?!! Did I forget the script?! Goddamn it!
He chuckled, sitting beside me,
“Oh, yeah, this is the meeting you had to catch right?” He asked, making me feel guilty.
"I'm-”,
He chipped in, “I see".
“I'm really sorry. I didn't mean everything I said there. I was just frustrated that a random guy would make a diligent person like me, run late for my meeting and lose the job”.
He stared at me in amusement, "You didn't mean those words? You did!” He mumbled.
"I really was..”,
"You did!”.
"Maybe, maybe. I'm sorry”.
“Can you justify your words back there and prove it as perhaps, right or wrong? Can prove a point from your words back there?" He asked in a whisper.
"No, no. The words I said there were wrong and I apologize.” I said before pressing my lips into a thin line.
"Wrong, but facts to you deep down” He said, bringing his hand to my chest.
My eyes trailed on his sexy tattooed fingers again, but they suddenly halted and he raised them to my chin so abruptly, raising my face to his.
He smirked and gave me a look that made me feel uneasy.
“Look at me when I speak, now reply,” He smirked.
"I only meant those words back there, not anymore”.
"I can see the lies in your eyes, those were what I was searching for” he said gently, boring into my soul with his eyes.
I tried looking away but it seemed as if his gaze pinned mine down, with nowhere to go.
"Bu-” I sighed, "Fine. I did mean those words, even now, but... I'm sorry” I whispered, shutting my eyes in embarrassment.
“Can you prove your words as right or should I say legitimate?" He asked,
My brow furrowed, "Le...giti…mate?” I stuttered.
"Yes. Legit”.
"H-how? I said I don't mean them but then why do I have to-” I ranted but he shushed me.
He stood then chuckled, as he paced back and forth, filling the air with anticipation.
He raked his tattooed fingers through his shiny jet black hair slowly, as he licked his lips. It felt as if he was just trying to seduce me for some reason at first, but then he twitched and spoke.
“... I'll chop off your stupid SMALL d**k”,
He repeated my words from earlier and I felt my heart skip a beat, as if I was about to be blackmailed by my own words.
"Can you perhaps tame the small d**k?" He asked, smirking.
A gasp escaped my lips as I couldn't believe my own ears.
