Chapter 33

1257 Words

Annabella... One year later... I enjoyed looking at my kids playing with their father. It was a blessing from above. This year passed by so quickly that I forgot all the pain that was in me. Here is where I wanted to be. It felt like home and more. The bakery I once owned was still running under the same name. I gave it up to Doug who was in tears when I handed him the keys. Riley, Lee, and Vanessa still worked there with him. The orphanage was well and running by four respectful and kind women Cèsar knew. The children were in safe hands, all under the care of Del Mar and Mike, Cesar's old loyal friend. My parents were happy that I had gotten better, but calling every day to check on my well being was a must for them. My grandmother was still going strong and healthy as ever, as well.
