Chapter 3 the awakening

The day Yu had hoped would never come began to approach. He could feel how his hunger grew and power, but that was not all. His memories slowly began to disappear one by one. But that was not all, he began to feel how all the guilt came out. He began to isolate himself in the cave to try to starve himself by staying away from everyone, including Yuya, because he didn’t want him to see him like that, but he also did it to protect him from himself. He didn’t want to hurt the one he loved the most in the whole world. So he tried to control himself for as long as he tried, until he couldn't move a muscle. Yuya had not seen Yu in two weeks and began to worry that something had happened. But just as he was on his way out, he heard people talking about how several of the villagers and people from other villages had been attacked at night and died of blood loss and that the corpses were so damaged that it looked like a herd of wolves had attacked them and tore them to pieces. Yuya refused to think it was Yu, but the more he thought about it the more he suspected it was Yu. But he refused to admit to himself that it was Yu. When he was back in their bedroom, he could feel so much pain and guilt that it became too much, so he fainted. He woke up the next day in the evening. The servants came running to Yuya and said that the villagers had decided to go to the forest to kill the beast that had attacked people in the village. They had brought torches and shotguns, axes, bows.

- what? Which forest? When did they go? Said Yuya angrily and anxiously.

- Yu said we should never tell you anything about when he left you. He left the village and went to the dark forest where no one had come out alive from. He found a cave high up in the rock in the forest he lived in during the time he was away before he heard you were sick, said the servant.

- what! So you say he did not want me to know that he lived in that terrible place! But what does this have to do with the villagers? Said Yuya

The servants tell Yuya that this means that, since Yu has not come home in several weeks, there is only one place he would hide and that is in the forest. We’re afraid that if all the animal attacks have been Yu’s, he has lost control and has decided to stay hidden from everyone as far as he can. So we’re afraid that the villagers have gone to that particular forest to kill Yu. There are rumors that it was not a wolf that attacked the villagers but that it was a demon-like creature that bit them to drink their blood. So, after the villagers heard this from someone, they decided to go to the forest of darkness to kill the monster. But the only one who lived there is Yu and if he has stayed away from the people these weeks, it means that he is trying to starve himself because he doesn’t want to hurt anyone or kill anyone. So what we want to say is that if he has not been drinking blood in those weeks, then he is very hungry and if the villagers enter the forest, Yu’s self control will be in vain.

- why? No, they can not kill Yu! Someone must have known that Yu is a vampire and set him up for something he didn’t do. Yes, if they go into the forest and get hurt, it’s over because if Yu smells as much as one drop of blood, his hunger will take over. We have to stop them. When did they go? Said Yuya.

- they left twenty minutes ago They said.

Okay, they should not stop them, said Yuya.

Yuya got up and left the house with his two books. To protect Yu from the villagers and stop his hunger, he had to go to his birthplace to find out where Yu and the villagers are and then he must not be disturbed by anything, so he has to call on his nine tails. Yuya had kept his secret hidden from everyone around him. But now was the time to take his name, title, power, royalty, shape, honor, strength, memories. He knew there was no going back if he did that, but he had no choice. There was no other option than this, so Yuya chose to reveal his real identity in order to save Yu and to make Yu’s thirst for blood stop. Because of him, Yu’s thirst can’t be stopped or controlled if Yuya doesn’t reveal his true identity. So, to save his true love, he has to return to his real shape.

He approached a large house as large as a castle that had been abandoned for several hundred years. The only thing left of the house was the floor and some walls.

Yuya’s family had once lived in this house, but the house was also inherited. So the house had been built by a relative who had then lived there with his family and in this way the house was inherited further through the family. But when Yuya was little, his father was killed by a human, so his mother took Yuya to the forest and went to a cave where she cast a spell that he would no longer have the shape he has, will not hate or fear people, and the day he finds his first love and people again try to take away someone he loves only then will his powers come back and he will have to hide far away from humankind. Yuya knew his mother was doing it to protect him. And now is the time for him to show her that she was right. He had decided to do everything in his power to protect the one he loves so he never has to lose someone he loves again.

Of all the people in his family tree, Yuya was the most powerful. His parents were very vigilant about him. His mother threw that spell at him then because she knew he would get so angry and think of revenge that he would lose control of his powers and became an evil creature. Yuya had learned to control himself and was waiting to find the right one. He knew that his mother and father loved him more than anything else and wanted to protect him. So to honor his parents, he promised himself to wait until the right moment.

And that moment was now. He went to the back of the house where there was an altar with torches around and a circle with a star in it on the floor and words in a language only he understood around the circle. The floor was made of ore. He entered the altar and then walked to the circle. And when he entered the circle, all the torches around the whole altar were lit and the spell that protected the altar from enemies was now activated. Yuya knew the ritual he would perform, his father had taught him in case something would happen when he was little. Yuya took of his clothes he was wearing and put on the kimono that hung on the wall and took out a bringer with his and his parents blood in it which he poured on the circle.

Yuya’s POV

“ but those ideas of mine have changed a bit since I met you, Yu”

“ you know, people demonstrate their disliking to those who are different than them. They’re self centered, proud and worthless beings.. ( laughing) that’s why I’m completely fine without them”

Yuya began the ritual and opened his other book and began reading out loud: i the necromancer, the cursed one and I who bear the burden of life and death, the one with the cursed books in my hands, I who bears all sins of my people and the one who was born with the curse, who have the powers to control all living things, the one who control death and who can destroy everything in my way. I who forgot my name, who lost my honor, my own blood, power, memories of my parents, royalty and everything I held dear were taken from me. So here I am, in the name of my dear mother Himeko kami and in the name of my beloved father yatogami the god of calamity.

In the name of my parents I beg thy, I as their son once again came here to take back the powers who once belonged to me, I call upon our contract/ I call upon our blood bond by the contract to one more time protect your master, you the creature of darkness and calamity and you who has the power to kill anyone and anything that stands in your way, once again I call you, the beast who I love above all, you who does everything to save and protect your master from harm and you who can destroy anyone who tries to harm me, I command you my lovely beast of chaos to rise and shine with power and glory.

I the rightful owner and master call you to once again destroy those who stands in our way, I herby call upon our promise that the day I shall return to my rightful place and return as your master that day is today.

I call on you my love of chaos, you who love me the most I call upon you my beautiful beast to awaken from your deep sleep and return to my side, bid my will and come serve your master, I am the son of yatogami and himeko kami the strongest of all, by my blood and by my name you shall all fear my wrath and power, you shall all beg for forgiveness and you shall all sit on your knees and obey me, hear my will, all those who disobey me shall all die!

I am the cursed one, I who forgot everything, by my word I ask thy to return my memories and powers, strength, royalty and everything I lost. I the necromancer of both books and was born with the curse to rule and was born with the blood of a royalty and of a pure blood, I who stands above all and have the power to destroy everything in my way and was born with a pact with the beast of chaos.

I was the one everyone feared and I was born with the powers to control the nine tails. I have waited for over hundred years for the right moment to take everything back that belongs to me. I came here today to take back what belongs to me once again and no one can stop me or they die!

I herby call upon our contract to awake you, my nine tails from your deep sleep and in my name I unlock the box and call upon my nine tails.

I who forgotten everything shall now remember everything, my true name is Yuya Kazuma Tomoe yato the god of life and death and the god with four names and four different powers, the god of life and death, the god of darkness, demons and god of the gods.

In my name you shall all go down on your knees to bid my will. I as the necromancer call upon our blood pact, I command you to bid my will to once again stand by my side and destroy those who stands in my way, I command you as your master to obey my will and fight by my side!

I call you the master of mine, you who once fought by my side, you who has the power of chaos and destruction, you who I named and you who are mighty and have the strength and power as strong as the demon king himself, I gave you a name, a name that everyone feared so fearful that they scream when you walk among them.

Yuya’s POV

In his mind: You were once loved but betrayed by those lovely and despicable humans. You had been betrayed and felt nothing but anger. You wanted the power to destroy those humans, you trusted them once and learned to never ever trust them again. I am your master who gave you a name to be proud of, I gave you a place to belong. I gave you everything as trust, friendship, respect, strength, immortality, family peace.

I the necromancer and the cursed one with the four powers and two books ask you to bid my will, I who looks like a fox yokai with nine tails and who have many names was betrayed by those freaking lowly humans and who lost those I loved in the hands of those humans, I found the love of my life after all this time and once again are they trying to kill my loved one, and once again the called someone I love for a MONSTER!! I made him a vampire and fell in love with him I also marked him as mine with a bond to keep him alive cuz they f**g poisoned him with a knife to kill him. Once I can forgive but never forget and twice I can’t sit and watch anymore. I couldn’t save my family from those humans and honoured my mothers last wish to only come here and take back my powers when I have found the one I love. I have been waiting for over hundreds years to learn how to use my powers little by little. I have been living next to them to observe them. I hoped that they would change and would not call anyone for a MONSTER ever again but I was wrong. I watched them close all those years and helped them over and over again when they needed it and look how they thank me!! I didn’t have the power to protect my parents cuz I was only a little child back then but it’s different now because I’m a grown man, I was useless and watched them until today because I could never forgive them for taking away my parents. I have been waiting for over hundred years and now I know why you told me to never ever trust humans. You taught me everything about them but I didn’t listen, I honoured my parents last wish and returned to this place to take back everything and step forward this time. I saved the love of my life from dying in the hands of those humans. Because of the mark/bond and because I don’t have awakened my full powers he became a monster and went to the forest of darkness and live in a cave because he feels so much guilt from not being able to control his hunger that he went there to hide from everyone so he couldn’t hurt anyone. He have starved himself. When I felt all his guilt and hunger that was when I finely understood that he was in so much pain. I promised him that he would never feel pain. That’s why I awoke him from death by making him a pure blood vampire so he never gets sick or feel any pain anymore. Because since he was little he had been suffering from cancer and had to stay in the hospital and when he was seventeen years old the doctor told him that he had only one more year to live or he can choose the surgery but the success rate was only 25%. What do you think the boy did? I who thought humans was monsters saw and heard that boy answer the doctor that he wants to do the surgery than to live one year with pain and the pain is going to get worse so instead of living longer only to suffer he chose the surgery. And afterwards he was well but after some time passes the cancer returned and they could no longer help him and he was told that he had three more days to live so he went home to spend his last days with his family. After he died his parents searched for me and I was curious to learn more about this boy visited them and listened to what they had to say. Later he agreed to become a vampire, but when he saw his parents again he asked me to erase their memories of it and only make them remember that he died of cancer but they are going to move on. After that moment he choose to fallow me and live with me and after some time we became lovers. He made me realize that not all humans are bad. I who hated humans fell in love with a human who I made into a vampire. I have waited for so long to finely find the one I love more than anything that’s why I won’t let the same mistake happen again, I wasn’t strong enough back then to protect them but this time is different cuz I am stronger now.

I never thought I would fall in love with anyone but it did happen, and if it’s him then I’m sure it’s going to be fine because with my full powers I herby call on my beloved nine tails and beast who has been by my side since I was born. With my true powers I shall never let anyone harm those I love. I am the necromancer and I am the only one she has ever chosen and acknowledged as her master and I will be the last one. I came here today my lovely and beautiful beast of chaos, the only one who can call her name is me or else her rage is so strong that it’s only ashes left from them. Last time I spoke to you I told you that the only time I would come back too this place ever again is when I have found the one I love and want to protect from everyone who tries to kill that person, I promised you back then that I would come back here to take everything back and as I said that day I came didn’t I?

I sealed you here to wait for me and I have returned to take you all back home with me, I have a large house now that you guys are going to live in together with me and the people I love.

I command you to return to my side and destroy those humans who called my loved one for a MONSTER and now they are going to kill him, I am not the nice little child I once was I have learned from my mistakes. I as your master call you my beast to come and stay by my side again and this time we are going to show them what happens when you make me angry!

I call upon our contract so hear my will and return to me, I call you by your true and given name and by this name you shall come forth and stay by my side, as your master I call upon your given name the great beast of chaos who chose me as your master, I have the right to call upon you my beloved Himi I call you to come! I as your master shall now give you an order. I order you to protect the forest of darkness which was once your home, my beloved is in your cave starving and the humans are planning to go into your forest to kill him so I command you to protect your forest and him from those humans, and you can use any means possible to keep them away. I shall now give you, your powers back and in my name as the necromancer I beg thy to make her stronger and faster, and make her powers so strong that she can destroy the entire city if she wants to, now by my command I set you free to fly to the forest and do as I told you.

I as your master , I call upon my beloved nine tails, the master of destruction Ren, and master of earth Kai, my love the master of matchmaking and fate yuki, the master of jealousy zero, the master of darkness kageshiro, the master of light hikari, the master of envy kiri, the master of anger kenji, and the master of demons ayato I command you to go to the forest were Himi is and find her cave and take the boy in there and take him to me, now go you fools!
