Lyra's POV I’ve been in this room for what feels like hours, maybe even days. The dim light barely filters through the stone walls, and the heavy silence wraps around me like a suffocating blanket. No one came in. No one goes out. I shout until my throat aches, but no one hears me. It’s as if the stone swallows my voice, turning my cries for help into nothingness. I tried again, this time asking for water. My lips are dry and cracked from thirst, and my body aches from the cold and the dampness of the floor. My mouth tastes of dust and blood.
