“You don't need to walk me back to my chamber, you know.” I shrugged as we both walked back to my manor.
“I can't let you go back alone. It's dark.” Asher smirked, knowing fully well that he had intentionally made up an excuse that I didn't look into.
Our footsteps were all I heard as we walked. He cleared his throat and rubbed shoulders with me.
“Do you have any idea who my brother's mate is?” He rubbed his nose.
