Lyra’s POV
“I don't know what you are talking about. My wolf or my heart doesn't beat for you.” I rattled out, attempting to leave when he grabbed my arm.
“You are lying and you know that!” He said, sounding annoyed.
I faced him. “I would really really appreciate it if this stayed between us.” I paused.
“Don't go about calling me your mate when I'm not yet certain. It could be a mistake or something.” I tried to dissuade him from his belief, but he was determined.
“I know what I feel, Lyra. You won't teach me.” He shunned me.
“Unfortunately, we aren't fated because nothing is moving inside of me.” I maintained my stance in my words, unwilling to waiver.
