Lyra’s POV “You don't need to get to my chamber, you know.” I stopped walking, facing him with my hands crossed at my back. “What's your relationship with Nortman?” I knew he had been holding himself to ask me this question, and he finally did. “The last time I checked, I'm not obliged to discuss my private affairs with you,” I said confidently and he smirked. “Well, I'm your Alpha, and your safety matters. Besides, Nortman has an awful history I wouldn't like you to be a part of his life.” He warned me seriously. “I don't care about your past or present if I love you, our future together is what matters,” I said lovingly, curling my lips. He frowned, staring at me annoyingly. “If you don't have anything more to say, it's time to leave, My Lord,” I said courteously, bowing my head.
