Ranio's POV
I couldn't stop smiling the entire night, tossing on the bed and thinking of a thousand things I couldn't wait to do with Lyra. I knew I was an Alpha and had a lot of responsibilities, but making my woman, who was now “Lyra” happy, was my top priority.
She couldn't tell if I was her mate or not, but I was certain. The feeling inside of me was unique and not something I had felt before.
I sensed the bond, though it came late, and it had been ages since I had been waiting for my mate.
Now I had seen her, and she was willing to try it with me. I couldn't hide my giddiness.
“My Lord, good morning.” Rex's voice woke me up as I groaned, stretching myself.
I slowly opened my eyes and found out that I had fallen asleep on the couch.
“My Lord, why did you…?” Rex looked surprised
