Friday came in a blink of an eye. Ammi was all too excited for today. She had been preparing for it the whole week. She was all too happy. Uncle Murtaza and Aunty Rehana were really close friends of Abbu and Ammi. She was really eager to meet them and catch up on old times. It has been such a long time since I saw Ammi like this. It was a good thing that we didn’t hear anything from Uncle or Wajdan since Wajdan’s last visit. It was such a relief, a moment of peace or calm before the storm. Well, let’s just not dive into this.
