About two hours into my walk, I noticed the brushes, plants and trees had changed. There were no longer natural, they now felt and looked magical.
The trees were excessively huge, and the forest was now completely covered in darkness, without a slice of daylight.
I also noticed that I hadn't seen any animals, although there were insects, birds, snakes, rabbits , and squirrels.
But I haven't seen or sensed any of the huge dangerous guys, and my hearing, sense of smell and sight was topnotch.
So I decided to sheath my long dagger, it looked like a sword, a short sharp sword.
When Mace gifted me, the beautifully crafted antique piece for my sixteenth birthday, I never imagined I would need it for anything, neither did it occur to me, that I might possibly use it.
