LUNA CITY - The political registry office announced today that fifteen opposition parties have met the filing deadline to field candidates in the upcoming Senatorial elections. Opposition spokesman John Wembly of the Labor Party predicts the largest gains ever for opposition candidates. Five new parties will be making their premier run at the Senate in the wake of what is viewed as the Republican Administrations ineptitude in handling the continuing crisis in Auriga. These parties range from the New Communist Party, who seek to revive the ancient tenets of Marxist communism, to an obscure group called the Terran Socialists, whose platform, Terra Now, has yet to be adequately explained to the media . . .
