Daisy

Bloom

Little Seulgi planted a daisy in front of their tree house. The next day a little sprout grew.

"Soon you will bloom and become my daisy"

She tapped it carefully and watered it.

A woman showed up.

Instead of getting shocked or becoming afraid of the stranger, the little Seulgi was curious.

"Why are you early?" The little Seulgi who was crouching looked up and asked while blinking back at the woman.

"Do you know me?"

"Eung. You're my fairy, you're my daisy." She nodded.

"Are you not afraid?"

Seulgi shook her head. "But you are early, I'm not lost. I'm with my father. "

"Okay." She approached her and tucked the hair behind the ear of the little Seulgi 

"I'm Joohyun. Can we be friends? I've been lonely in this jungle. I was waiting to be awaken by the person destined for me."

"What do you mean?" 

"You're too young to know." She giggled. 

"Okayyyy"

"Let's be friends? Pinky promise?"

"Yes, pinky promise."

Long ago.

The school bell rang. Students went to their designated classrooms. When the corridor became empty. Two people were left.

A sudden bang on the students locker made noise.

"My ID" pissed Seulgi with furrowed eyebrows tells the smaller girl in her front.

The girl on the other hand who was shook by the sudden noise, shivered. 

Seconds later, the girl, tried to be calm and resume to her proper posture.

"Excuse me?" She asks while she arranges her specs in the middle with her middle finger.

"My ID. I know you have it. Stop pretending like you dont."

But the other girl just turned and left with a smirk on her face. 

"Suspect me all you want, you'll gonna waste your time, bye" She waves as she walk away to annoy Seulgi.

The Seulgi who cannot enter her classes that day decided to annoy the best out of the other girl.

"Seul, you can just report her in the prefect's office you know?" Suggested by Lisa

"Yeah" Joy seconded.

"Or do you want to play with her?" Says another girl who just sat beside Lisa and joined them in the cafeteria.

"Uhm who are you by the way to suggest that?" Seulgi asks.

"Tzuyu" she offered her hand.

"Fine what's the plan?" Seulgi agrees by taking her hand for a shake hand.

"OOOHHHHH" the group yells.

"SHHHHHH" the other table tells them.

Annoyed Joy rolled her eyes. 

"Who the heck would study in a cafeteria, these nerds should be in the library you know"

"By the way Seulgi, are you fine with this?" Wendy asks

"Why?"

"You are your father's angel. No way you'll taint their name in case we get caught."

Seulgi gulped, nervouse but she replied "Yes, I'm sure. "

"No name will be tainted if we dont get caught." Tzuyu assures.

"Here's the plan, let her slip on the cafeteria when she gets her meal later. Hid her sports shoes before practice. Pour her a kilo of flour when she changes outfit in the rest room's cubicle. Lastly, watch her get mad"  Tzuyu suggests

"Who are we talking about by the way?" Lisa asks

"Ms. Bae, the school's varsity softball player"

"She's our friend" says Lisa.

"Then stay out of this" Tzuyu replies

"WAIT WHAT!?" Wendy stood up

"Are you out of your mind, Tzuyu? She's our friend. This is in no need." says Wendy 

"I will talk to her. All you want is your ID right?" Lisa grabs Seulgi by her collar.

"Calm down. Calm down." says Jisoo.

"We shouldn't be the one fighting here" Joy added.

"Okay. No one's gonna do anything Tzuyu said. We'll wait for Lisa's solution" says Seulgi while she loves her face closer to Lisa's

Both can be seen with heated arguments.

Afternoon classes ended and Jersey number 43, Ms. Bae opened her locker to change her shoes. She sighed. She went to the cafeteria for her snacks and there she slipped. Lastly, she went to the rest room to change her sports attire and she was poured by flour above her when she entered the cubicle.

Resting b***h face her still went out, dust off few flour from her face and walked bare-footed but unashamed.

As she reached the softball diamond field, her co-players approached her.

"Hey what happened?"

"Nothing. Let's continue."

"But captain. We can postpone today's practice if needed."

"No. Just because I came here like this, then we should postpone the practice. My attire has nothing to do with your skill improvements for today. Continue. "

Moments passed by.

"Next batter, Jersey number 43"

She stood up on her position. Bae perfectly hits the ball and successfully run the first and the second base, when it was the time she'll reach the 3rd one. A big amount of water splashed her way.

Someone played with the school's fire alarm. A whole chaos happened. A firetruck on the field, driven by a student. 

Jersey #43 collapsed by the field. Students are evacuating.

Seulgi heard about the news she run towards the field but saw his brother laughing and filming on the 3rd floor.

Seulgi slapped him.

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Noona?"

"What have you've done?"

"I just did what your friend said. You were having troubles with this girl right?"

"Not anymore. Take this down now."

"No, noona"

Seulgi forcefully grabbed her brother's phone.

"Jongin please" She threw it on the ground"

"NOONA!!! I WILL TELL THIS TO MOM!"

"THEN DO IT! I WILL TELL WHAT MESS YOU'VE DONE"

Seulgi left and looked for the girl on the field.

She carefully patted her face to wake her up.

"Please please, wake up." Seulgi nervously checks upon her.

Everyone left calling for help won't do anything now.  Seulgi tried to ask Jongin's friend who was driving the school's firetruck to help her but it left instead.

"Hyaa, pls wake up. I'm sorry, you know. I'm sorry" Seulgi pleads.

Seulgi carried her by her back.

"Sorry" she whispered on Seulgi.

"What?"

"I don't have your ID. I'm sorry. I really don't have it. Jongin took it" the girl whispered, her lack of energy was evident,  her hand which was wrapped around Seulgi fell.

"Heyyy please, hold on. I will run as fast as I can" 

Lisa came.

"Seulgi, I'm gonna carry her instead. "

"No."

"I know where to take her"

That was the first and the last day Seulgi saw her, Jersey #43, Ms. B
