The University

Seulgi, a year ago

"Seulgi-yahhhh" a group of friends welcomed her with a group hug on the hallway.

"Hey, we never knew, you'll be studying here. Last time we saw you was in junior high, right?" Joy asks everyone as her arm was wrapped around Wendy and was resting on the latter's shoulder.

"Seems like the two of you are dating now?"

Teases Jisoo on Wendy and Joy.

"You two are into each other?" Seulgi curiously asks.

Wendy removed Joy's arms from her shoulder and twisted it around.

"Ahh ahh sorry sorry." Joys asks for forgiveness.

"Okay, you just had the wrong idea. And no, seulgi, the answer is no to your question." Wendy clarifies.

"Ahhh okay for a second I thought you girls turned out to like other girls too."

The awkwardness among the group was obvious because no one responded.

"Actually we-" Lisa was about to continue but was interrupted by another one.

"HEY!!" The girl in pretty white floral wavy knee length dress runs towards them. 

She was running too fast that she slipped. Unlike other people was expecting, they thought Seulgi would catch her. 

"Nice dodge" Seulgi proudly says as she smiles.

"Aahh" she dropped and that was surely painful since she's wearing a doll shoes around this slippery hallway.

"SEULGI!!!!!" Wendy, Joy, Jisoo and Lisa yelled in unison.

"What?"

Seconds later both Lisa and Seulgi offered a hand. But she took Lisa's hand instead and snobbed Seulgi.

Lisa helped her dust off the dirt behind her pretty dress.

"Girl, I know you're all this petite, fancy, pretty, and especially clumsy, please be more cautious, okay?" Lisa lowered her head leveling the other girl's eyes. Lisa giggled when the girl nodded.

"Aye, that's so cheesy of you, Lisa" Jisoo threw a book on Lisa's head but the girl successfully caught the book before her.

"Softball varsity." The girl pouted and moved both of her shoulders up.  "....can't deny that"

"Nice catch our sporty but always late pretty girl" Joy cheered while clapping.

"It's almost the start of the next class." says Wendy.

"Yeah" Joy seconded.  "I'm gonna miss youuuu" Joy annoyingly clings unto Wendy.

"Later, later, we'll see each other later, okay?"

Each girl left and proceeded on their respective rooms leaving the two of Seulgi and the pretty girl.

Seulgi gulped, awkwardly standing beside her.

"I'm sorry"

The other didn't respond.

Seulgi tried saying it again "I'm sorry"

But she was still ignored.

"I said I'm sorry" Seulgi lost her patience and pinned the other girl against the wall, making her shocked about what was Seulgi doing.

"I-i was looking for my schedule in my bag"

Seulgi was embarrassed but still continued, this time letting go of her hand against the wall.

"Oh..."

"What was it?" the girl calmly asked.

Seulgi can't look at her.

"I'm sorry, I said." says Seulgi in a lower voice while looking away.

The girl tapped her shoulder and replied

"If it was the incident earlier, it's fine. I don't hold grudge against someone that much. I'm off my next subject, hope to see you around, gotta go." 

The girl turned and left.

"Okay." Seulgi sighed in relief.

When it was time for her class Seulgi entered but was a minute late before the Professor.

The look on the professor tells much that he was disappointed at her.

"Sit down" the prof ordered.

Seulgi followed but then...

"Wait" says the professor.

"Why" Seulgi turned and asked.

"Where's your ID?" Seulgi looked down and saw only her ID sling was left.

"Get out!" 

"But sir-"

"I said get out!"

Seulgi left the classroom and was screaming inside her head.

On the other hand, from a room somewhere in the university building, a girl smirks as she wiped the ID she was holding.

"Kang Seulgi, nice name." 

"Miss Bae?" the professor called.

"Present" the girl says while raising her hand.
