chapter 3 Josh, kaylas brother

Couch come on we lost we didn't kill someone we're tired. we've been here since eight O clock this morning I say.

Josh your right y'all go get launch and come back take a break. Then well go back at it. were not leaving here till five he says. yall need alot more practice. yall lost to one of the worst teams around here he practically yells.

The whole team sighs in releaf that we get to take a break every one starts coming up to me.

Thanks captain they all says high fiving me.

He always listen to you. idk why hes so rough on us they've played on there field it was so wet and muddy one of them said. they all nod agreeing with him.

Well guys we're a team I pause for a moment. No no we're a family we've gotta stick together I say correcting myself.

I hope in my sisters truck but I tell everyone it's mine and I let her use it so she doesn't look bad in her little single cab truck Which is mine.

Her truck is a jacked up black z71 with the biggest mud tires ever with loud pipes. Shes only twenty and was engaged to Austin aka the richest boy in mississippi.

He had to choose a school and see us poor folk and become humble and kind. He chose our pathetic old high school.

Long story short he followed my sister around like a puppy finally asked her to be his wife when she was seventeen.

She said yes which surprised everyone. our parents weren't happy about it manly because they were to young but everyone seen there love.

It was true so everyone let them make the plans. the date was for today two years after they graduated.

He bought her this truck there first day of senior year she would go pick him up on her way there I started college that year About three months after they graduated.

Even tho she started way before me. When they got together they started collage just like my friend Tristan.

They kelpt going here and there I didnt know how they did it but they did. Shes in her last year. Her and Tristan are fighting for top dog. in both there work and college.

Him and my sister got in to a bad Wreck. They were at Rockies and someone hit them with there a atv and drove off.

we looked everywhere for the atv

Kayla went flying throw the air and landed in the mud nine feet away from Austin.

Thank god our friend Blake was there and helped her out of the mud. She was knocked out from the impact.

Austin was shaked but didnt relize he was badly hurt. he waslooking for kayla. she was Bleeding everywhere.

when he found her he seen blake and her hugging. He thought that blake was making a move trying to save her and be the hero

He ran up to him and punched blake in the face. kayla crawled over to him he bent down to her level.

Blake told me that Austin smiled at her putting her hair behind her ear and whispered something to her.

Told me that he pulled her into a kiss and tears fell down both there checks. he helped her up like everything was fine.

He then fell kayla tired to catch him but she was to weak from the blood she lost. she realize he was losing to much blood. he laughed and said he didnt even realize he was so worried about her..

blake helped her get him up and to the hospital. he laugh and apologized not know there were childhood friends.

he died that night in the hospital. he had lost to much blood and the wounds were so bad. no one new it was that bad he was talking and acting like it was no big deal.

Blake stayed in Kayla's room till she got discharged four days later. They've been close ever since then.

But hey she let's me drive her truck ever now and then and maybe one day she'll find another guy and come out of this girly cowgirl faze and go back to the girl we use to know.

Eating the rest of my subway I get a text from couch saying we can go home that something came up.

knowing it was his pregnant wife probably wanting pickles. he always rushes to he aid when she's craving something.

the drive home was quit. the trees wear at there greenest I thought about stopping at my ✌✊girls ✌✊ house but decided against it.

I noticed kayla wasn't at home so I went to Blake's but he wasnt there Ethier were are they ugh I wanna go somewhere.

Kayla isn't in my truck so she not far I'll go back and wait for her.
