chapter 5. hunting, kayla

As we're walking Blake puts me in a deer stand while Josh walks in the woods. Blake got in the deer stand on the other side of me about 15 feet from mine.

hearing the sound of twigs snaping I look over to where Blake's stand is and he's gone. Damn thought it was a deer guess he's going home

The door slams open to Blake face smiling at me. If there was more room in this damn thing I would jump into his arms.

As he closes the door my smile grows bigger he wraps his hands around me kissing my lips filling the warmth of his. He slowly kisses down my neck making my body lean forward a little then back

My body or my brain is doing this even if I wanted to stop this theres no way I could. Before we new it our clothes were off. God you've got a great body he say.

Oh really now well what if I take my figure and run it down your chest like this. He starts to shiver.

Oh baby he says picking me up pushing me back up against the wall of the stand your driving me crazy he finishes.

Blake sits down rubbing my back as I squeeze the trigger and the buck jump up in the air bucking back into the woods.

Giving him a kiss I pump my fist in the air as it falls at the wood line. Lets go and get him I say finna run out the door of the shotting house but blake grabs me before the door opened

Kayla he says pulling me to him nibbling at my ear. You might want to put your clothes back on darlin he whispers.

Omg I almost went out like this what if my brother would have seen me. He would have killed you my voice Frantic.

hurring to put them on we can't do this again I mean it .

I put my hand on his chest I'm sorry if my brother finds out he'll hurt you and it was wrong of me to do this I say with a little smile and hurt in my eyes

I feel so bad it's been two years since Austin died and 9 years since we flirted at camp. What would Austin think of me. Hanging with my old fling after he has I couldn't even think it.

Bye Blake I open the door and left without another word between us.

Running leaving my gun and the deer behind i hear his white 850 fourwheeler crank up and speeding towards me.

Tears rolling down my face running as fast as I could. Feeling like ive done something wrong. today and yesterday was a mistake.

I was to caught up in the moment of having someone there. not think of what Austin would think of me.

I feel Like ive let the man that loved me with all his heart down. Not paying attention mostly because of the tears.

I run strait into something hard I look up and see him smiling down at me. Making me smile for a split second not long enough for him to see.

Howd you get infront of me I didnt even hear you go by the tears still running down my face. f*****g tears never listen.

It was easy but I almost didn't catch you in time. had to get your deer and gun he whispers next to my ear.

Looking over I see my perfect deer on the front of his fourwheeler. Smiling up towards him thanks is all that came out.

Darlin you don't have to thank me its what I do for the people I love he reatches up wiping my tears away.

I jump back pushing his hands away from my eyes. Love is a strong word. love dies when you least expect it.

Its a word I'm wanting to show you how I truly feel it roles out of his lips. Making me smile.

I love you to but I just feel so Guilty about yesterday and today it's all to much I cry. what would Austin think.

He just sooths me till the tears stop rolling. he would want you to move on and to be happy he says as he brushes his fingers throw my hair.

how do you know. he was the one I was supposed to be with for the rest of my life. he was gone way to fast I cry more.

I know because that's what I would want you to do if I was no longer here. I would want you to find love , have kids , the the happy girl I was with when I was alive he shooths.

I just smile up at him.
