I looked up at Grae with confusion written all over my face once again. He refused to look at me as he grumbled under his breath as he walked past the young wolf.
Grae quickly made it to our bedroom before he could encounter anyone else, he looked like he wanted to hide. He hurriedly closed our bedroom door behind him while still carrying me in his arms. He pressed his back against the door and rested his head against it and closed his eyes with a sigh.
“I didn’t mean for this to happen,” He said quietly almost to the open air.
“What’s going on Grae?” I asked.
Grae ignored my question as he walked over to our bed and gently placed me down on the pillow top mattress. He walked away from me and towards the closet and sought out a comfortable pair of pajamas for me to wear.
