  LUKE   The tingles from the mate bond are much stronger now that I have marked Kat. Her wolf seems to be happy to see me, but I don't know how Kat will feel when she shifts back. She was determined to stick to the rejection.   I sit down on the ground beside the river and run my fingers through Kat's wolf's fur. Her wolf lets me pet her, but she doesn't shift back into her human form.   "Will you shift back into your human form? We need to talk," I ask her wolf.
