CHAPTER 56 Last Night

  KAT   It is our last night in the farmhouse. Everything is packed up, and the movers come tomorrow. Dad and I are camped out in the living in sleeping bags surrounded by boxes. We are both lying on the floor staring at the ceiling; neither one of us knows what to say.   The farm was bought by a buyer to preferred to remain anonymous. I am almost positive it was Luke, but I don't have any proof, and I am not sure why I care. I plan to stick to the rejection even though it causes me daily pain.
