“Hi, is this Mr Pierce?” A lady on the other end asked pleasantly.
“ Yes and who is this?” I ask as I try to decode the voice on the other side of the phone.
“Can you please come down to Brook Hospital?”. Your wife got into an accident and she is in surgery.
“What the f**k did you just say?”. I yelled at the person on the other side of the phone. A lot of thoughts ran through my mind as I was confused on how Arya must have gotten into an accident, when she only told me she was going to the restroom some minutes ago. I should have known better since she spent too much time in the restroom.
“Please stay calm sir”. She was still talking but I hung up.
“Anyone involved will pay for touching my wife”. I said as I walked out of the art gallery angrily.
