Ezra held both sides of Nina's face, gazing at her. "Are you okay?"
She nodded. "I guess so. I think every bond I had with him had been broken."
He then placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
She lowered her head, smiling at the gesture. "Is it weird that I didn't feel anything about him dying?" She then asked.
"No, baby. I don't expect you to feel. He basically tortured you, and he does not deserve your pity, even in death. I'm just glad that the bond had been broken."
