Nina opened her eyes the next morning, and she was surprised to meet Ezra's gaze, staring right back at her. She smiled.
"Good morning."
"Good morning baby girl." He husked in a sleepy voice, and she felt her heart flutter. "Did you sleep well?"
She nodded.
"I forgot to tell you last night. A girl named Keisha came visiting yesterday. Claire said she is Alpha Pascal's daughter. She was looking for you, concerning the issues of rogues."
She remembered Claire telling her that Ezra once had an affair with her, and it made her sick to the stomach. She watched his reaction.
"Oh, where is she now?" He asked casually.
"After waiting for almost the whole day, she asked to sleep here, but your mother denied her. I think she went to Elder Paul's house."
"Did she cause you any trouble?"
