When Ezra came back that night, he went to find Nina. Apparently, Claire had already alerted him about the letter. He took her to his office.
"May I see the letter?"
"It's in our room." Nina responded.
"What does it contain?"
She looked down, a little embarrassed at what she was going to tell him. She then sighed and looked at him again. "My father wants me to collect money from you."
His eyes widened in surprise. "Money from me? For what? Does he want you to steal from me?"
"No. He wants me to manipulate you, until you give me the money yourself. Then I would give it to him. I believe he wants to use it in repaying his debts."
