"Who the hell are you?" Daniel asked her, and she jumped in fright. She stared at him as though she was afraid. He wondered who she was and how she got there. For her to be there also meant that she was hiding. Who was she hiding from?
"Who are you?" He asked again, this time calmly, but she just shook her head.
He walked up to her, and crouched in front of her. She tried to hide her face, but he reached for her chin. She flinched as he touched her, her body slightly trembling. He frowned.
"Did someone hurt you?"
She shook her head.
"What is your name?"
"I... I don't remember."
He then stood up. "I don't believe you."
"Please, please believe me. I really do not remember anything about me."
"Who are you hiding from then?"
"No one."
"Then come out."
She sucked in a sharp breath.
