When Ezra came back, he sent some soldiers to the Spring snow's pack, while doubling the ones around his borders and in the pack. He had assisted the Spring Snow's pack as they had always been allies, together with a few other packs. Refusing them help in their time of need for no apparent reason was not an option. Besides there was really nothing to lose.
But that night, there was no attack as anticipated, both in the Spring snow's pack and in the Night howler's pack. Ezra knew that they really need to find their leader to at least know the motive of the rogues.
