"He... Marked you?" Ezra asked his mother, his eyes wide in shock.
"Yes." She shrugged casually.
He expected that this would come sooner or later, but he knew that he would never be prepared. But she seemed very happy with it, and that was one thing he truly wanted for her.
Nina smiled. "Congratulations mom. I'm so happy and proud of you."
"Thank you sweetie. Now Ezra, what do you have to say for yourself?"
"I don't believe that I will be saying this one day, but I'm happy for you. Or better still, I'm happy that you are happy."
"Not like you have a say in the matter." She teased.
"But it happened so soon. When did it even happen? You were with Bella last night, so I doubt you had any time for, you know..." He shrugged, making her chuckle.
"It was three nights ago, Ezra."
"Oh..."
