Chapter 14

809 Words
We arrived a week ago and we have done nothing but ride, watch Netflix (mostly when it rains) and eat. We do not use cell phones since we decide to disconnect from everything related to social networks and that; If our parents want to communicate with us, they use the landline. We also have them close by for an emergency, but we do not need to be glued to the cell phone as we were almost every day.    We haven't slept once apart, and I can say it's the best thing I've ever done in my life. It's like I'm so used to him that I don't know if I could sleep without him. Obviously I can, but I don't know if I want to. There is nothing close to s****l, we just sleep in the same bed, sometimes hugging and sometimes not, but it gives me an aura of tranquility and protection that I did not feel in a long time.    Now we are going to a small town near the field as we need supplies of food and junk. It is small and familiar, I love the air that is breathed in these places.    As we leave, a tall blond boy with brown eyes comes towards us with a big smile. "Hello guys". "Hello" Alex and I greeted shyly. "Um ... I was wondering if you would like to go to a party that we are doing, it's near here tonight. As this is a boy, I am telling all the adolescents I meet" we all laugh at his comment because it is true, not many people live, much less adolescents.    I look at Alex and without having to ask him anything he just nods. "Yes, come on" I speak. "Good, could someone give me your w******p to send you the exact address and time?" "I'll give it to you" Alex says and begins to dictate number by number. "Very good, thanks guys" he says hi and leaves, before we go in the car we see him talking to three other boys, he must be inviting them too.    When we get home, the first thing we do is throw ourselves on the couch. "We're going, right?" I ask Alex. "Didn't I tell you yes?" "Good good. I'm only asking. I haven't been to a party in a long time". "God if you don't like them" he says to then put himself on top of me and tickle me, this would be a bad thought if it weren't that I'm almost running out of air. "Bas ... enough A ... ALEX! Bast ... enough for ... please" I speak everything between laughs but it's not funny at all. "Enough ... Ale ... alex" his cell phone rings and stops. "I'm going to cry". "Lie, and you saved my cell phone". "i***t" I say laughing and push him.    He starts checking his cell phone. "It's today's guy with the address and it starts at 10:00 P.M. And ... his name is Nahuel". "Well ... what time is it?" "4:58 P.M". "Oh my god, I have to see what to wear! There is no time" Alex laughs. "And what are you laughing at?" "You're not like that". "I know, it was clearly a joke" I laugh with him and lie down next to him back. "Not that I'm interested in why I'm going to wear it, I'll probably grab the first thing I see". "I choose what you wear" he says with a hand on his chin and something like a pensive face. "Good joke". "It's not a joke" I laugh until I realize that he's serious. "Is seriously. By fis" speaks lengthening the "i" and clasping his hands in supplication. "Ok, fine" I give up, maybe I have good taste ... maybe not, we'll see. "Hey bad, I heard you". "s**t, I really have to stop thinking". "That won't be a problem for you". "Bad, shut up" I say as I hit him on the arm. "Let's go". "But ... but no".    Now we are at the door of the house, it is quite large (not to say giant). Alex chose me a black flared skirt that is much higher than the knee, a white top with lace that shows my white bodice and my black bootie converse, this boy has a bit of good taste. He has a black jean, a white shirt and some black vans. "Hello" says a half drunk Nahuel ... what time did this boy start drinking? "Hello" we say hello with Alex. "Come in, come in. It's like your home so take and take what you want".    He leaves and we are alone, we walk around the house a bit and see the people there, which are not many but there are enough to be such a small town, it must be the safest thing for the holidays. "I need to drink" we talk at the same time, we nod and go to the kitchen, let's see what this night of partying has in store for us.
