Today is the second day that we are here, but in reality it would be like the first since yesterday we stayed inside all day. We already had breakfast and now we don't know what to do so we just sit at the table for a while looking at a fixed point until I remember.
"Bright Star!" I shout suddenly. "I still haven't visited him".
"Let's go".
I grab him by the hand and run excitedly to where my horse is supposed to be with him practically on my heels. Upon arrival, my Lucero is indeed there, but there is also another next to him.
"What's your name little guy?" I ask as I walk towards him, since he has his name on a plate next to him and I can't read it well.
"Little guy?" Alex speaks mockingly and I look at him badly without answering him.
I look on his plate and there is his name in wood but painted with only the letters above with violet color.
"Luna is called, and well, then apparently it is a mare".
Now I do go to Lucero while Alex goes with Luna. Seeing me she lifts her tail and comes towards me.
"Hello, my little one" I speak to ... a horse, well don't judge, I have spoken to him that way for as long as I can remember. "I haven't seen you for a long time ... I missed you very much my little one".
"Little? That horse is huge, Eli" laughs while the misplaced one of my best friend talks.
"First, that horse has a name and is Lucero. And second, he is my little one, it doesn't matter when he measures or weighs" I pretend to be offended and go looking for the mounts, leaving all three behind.
"Sorry, I love you too" he says as he comes and hugs me from behind.
"I forgive you, but each one has its name, did you hear me?"
"Yes ma'am".
While I finish grabbing the saddles, which by the way, weigh a ton each more or less, the dear kind gentleman of my best friend does not think of coming to help me but prefers to return with Lucero and Luna, apparently pleasant.
"It seems that he loves me" I listen to Alex.
As I turned around, Luna almost threw herself towards Alex and wags her tail like she wants to play and is a dog.
"It seems that I do not, a little help here?"
"What is that for?"
"So that we get on?" I ask him and he looks horrified.
"I never rode a horse".
"You've come here a lot of times since we were kids".
"Yes, but I never got on Lucero, never!"
I grab one mount and put it on Luna, then I grab the other and put it on my Lucero.
"Look ... put my left foot here" I hook it. "And then pass the right leg over the top, it's not difficult".
"It's not difficult".
After a couple of attempts he succeeds and I celebrate it by making me look ugly, why not celebrate something that cost him a lot?
"To make it go faster you raise and lower the reins quickly but not too many times because you will want to go anywhere. To go to the right you take the reins to the right and to go to the left you take them to the left. Ready".
"And ... to stop?"
"Uh, little detail" river. "You pull back that he is going to stop alone, she in your case".
"Mmm ... well" he doesn't seem very convinced.
"Easy, it looks good Luna".
"It seems? What if it is not?"
"You will die" he sees me and wants to try to get off in fear while I can't help laughing. "It was a joke, he's not going to do anything to you".
"As you know? Did your parents tell you?"
"No, but if it was bad if they would have warned me, so it is not. And stop whining please I ask".
"All right. Decorate my funeral with light blue and green colors".
"All right".
I start walking with Lucero and when I look back I see that Alex is coming in pretty good for his first time. I love the landscape, everything green, the occasional tree, animals, nature ... peace. The silence of the city and hearing only the footsteps of the horses against the grass, and the odd curse from Alex but nothing from another world, is the best thing he could have asked for on a vacation.
I set the time because it is already getting dark and it seems to be 6:27 P.M.
"Shall we go back?" Alex asks me and I nod.
When we got to the stable we went downstairs and set the reins and saddles in place.
"Looks like you already grabbed this by the hand".
"If I like it. I liked the mackerel".
"Which? Sorry? I think I didn't hear well".
"The mare".
"They have a name for something, not for you to be saying anything to them" I speak as I leave the barn to return to the house.
"Well, beautiful Moon of my life and soul" he says when he is by my side entering the house.
"I like it that way. I'm glad you liked it" I hit him on the arm and go to the kitchen.
After eating my mom calls me.
"Hello daughter, how are you doing?"
"Good ma".
"How is Alex? Feel better? Did it clear a bit?"
"Yes, the truth is, now we just finished having lunch".
"To have lunch?" I hear mom on the phone and Alex next to me.
"Dinner is my thing".
"Well my girl. I'm glad they are doing well and that our other little one is feeling better".
"Also this afternoon we were with Lucero and we met Luna, she is beautiful and Alex rode her".
"Seriously?" my dad is heard in the background. "How weird that".
"Why weird?" I ask now.
"Because it is not allowed to be ridden by anyone, absolutely no one who has wanted to do it. Roberto tried, she is rescued, he found her and we have no problem. Also, Lucero has company".
"Alex didn't want to ride her, maybe that's it".
"I didn't want what?" asks the aforementioned approaching with a spoon stuck in his mouth and when he sees me, he hides it. "Nutella" whispers smiling shyly.
"Nothing" I laugh at her face.
"That must be it" I go back to the phone with my parents when I hear my dad and we laugh. "Well, have a nice time".
"You too, bye".
"Goodbye beautiful. Take care".
"You too mom, bye".
"Bye!" shouts Alex leaving me almost deaf.
At the end of having a tea we each went upstairs.
"May l...? / We can...?" we talk at the same time.
"Than?" I ask him.
"Not okay, what's wrong?"
"Tell me first".
"No".
"Yes".
"Well, do you want to sleep with me again?"
"I was going to ask you that just" we laugh.
"Then yes?"
"Yes".
These two nights we had a great time, we bring the television up to the bedroom and watch movies until we fall asleep, and there is no reason to stop, right?
