NAOMI’S POV I was sprawled face down on my bed, crushing the pillow while sliding my finger across my phone screen with an apathy that was starting to worry me. I had three new messages from Marcus. Despite the fact that I had stood him up on our first date, he kept writing to me every morning to find out how I was.
