“ Now that have escorted you to your room , give me at least an hug ” Jean initiated, he couldn't help it . She looks so pretty man ........ Buh she seems off like she upset or hurt kinda of. “ Well we are not in a open area so why hug me .... huh” she responded frantically, she was wondering why he was asking for an hug after saying that he was with her so his money would not go to waste . What sort of a joke is this .... Puffft... Men , she thought before she rolled her eyes.

Jean on the other hand was a little confused by her change of behavior, maybe he was right about her facial expression “ what wrong, did I upset you ” His voice was soft as ever, it seems it did a magic on Merry , her face softened . “ You didn't do anything ” she replied

“ Then why did you respond like that , if you don't want my hug then it's fine , I ain't forcing you baby girl ” Jean said

“ It's not that , I thought we were getting along not until you said you only with me because of money you paid for the couples resort ” Merry said , she's hurt but she did well in trying to hide it .

Jean eyes widen in shock ,he was surprised because when he said that he wasn't paying attention at all besides he didn't want to be clingy or appear desperate to her . He doesn't even know where to start explaining to her

“ Come on , I didn't mean that ..... I'm sorry, and as a matter of fact I do like you very much ” He said hoping she would unfold her arms and look at his face . But she only unfold her arms and and clutch her handbag .

“ You...sure or you joking ” she said .

“ I'm serious Baby girl ” Jean said smiling showing his white set of teeth.

“ Do I deserve an hug now ”

“ Maybe ” She replied half smiling.

He stepped forward , pull her closer and gave her a hug

His cologne took over her nose , his scent was divine. So sad it didn't last for long.
