Although wounded, Angie managed to drag herself away from the bed. It wasn't even up to a minute before her legs gave up under her. She fell to the floor with a loud sound.
Derek who was already at the far end of the room glanced at her without remorse. He raised his brows at how she struggled to get up but her legs continued to give up under her. They kept on failing her over and over again.
