That I can assure you,” Aurelio replies as he raises his hands slightly, showing his empty palms in a gesture that is supposed to look harmless, maybe even respectful, though the faint smile sitting on his lips makes it clear he knows exactly how little that reassurance means standing outside my gates with several of Bonavelli’s men behind him.
