Chapter 2

Axel I was just finishing up in the bar. I had kicked the last few lads out of the bar at closing time. I was cleaning the counter and wiping the tables. We did have cleaners that did the cleaning, but I found it therapeutic. I was wiping the bar down when I heard a loud noise outside. I could hear men arguing. That’s all I need. I opened the doors and saw two men fighting. I ran over to them and grabbed both of them by their collars and dragged them apart. “What the f**k is going on? Get out of here before I call the cops.” I was a big f**k. I’m tall, well over 6 feet. I was built, I spent an hour in the gym every day, like I said, I’m a big f**k. I was intimidating. And a member of the Titan Kings MC Club. Both men turned and walked away in opposite directions. “f*****g drunks. Need to f**k off away from my bar.” I mumbled to myself as I headed back inside. I headed to the bar and picked up some glasses, my mind went back to the girl who was here a few hours before. She was beautiful. She was with that i***t though. Long auburn hair, it looked like liquid gold in some lights. Her eyes were huge and the color of the night sky. She was f*****g beautiful. Her body was hot, she had small t**s, a bit smaller than a handful, but f**k, I wanted her. What the f**k was she doing with a prick like that? She didn’t seem to be too interested in him at least. Although she left with him. f**k, I could feel my fists clenching again. Why did it bother me so much? I see f**k loads of hot girls in here leaving with men, it never usually bothers me. But the way he was looking at her when she was looking away. It made my f*****g skin crawl. I tried flirting with her a bit to get her attention away from him, but that fucktard put his arm around her and pulled her to him. I tried to hide my smirk when she pushed him off her. I haven’t seen her before. She mustn’t be from round here. My mind went back to the bar and cleaning up. It was a busy night, two birthdays and three fights I’ve had to split up. I’ll have to talk to Prez when I get back to beef up security. f*****g crazy round here sometimes. I picked up the empty bottles and opened the door to go round to the dumpster in the alley. Always gave me the f*****g creeps being round here. There’s no lights round here, and all the bushes. You never know when someone’s going to jump you. I opened the lid of the bin and threw the bottles in when I heard a faint noise. It was gone two in the morning, so traffic wasn’t very heavy. I heard a faint “Is anyone there?”. I turned quickly to see if I could see anyone. “Hello?” I called. “I’m here, can you help me please? I can’t get out. I’m hurt.” I ran over to the bush, where I could hear rustling. I bent down to see who it was. It was still too dark though, so I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. I had a flashlight app, so I opened it up and shone it to where I heard the rustling. I gasped when I saw those two big beautiful but battered eyes looking back at me. “s**t! What happened sweetheart?” It was her, the beautiful girl from the bar. But what happened? Why was she in the bush looking like she’d been in a boxing ring? “I don’t remember.” She said. She had only had three drinks all night and was fine when she left. I’d watched her leave. Then it dawned on me. That bastard. I knew he looked dodgy as f**k. What did he f*****g do to her! I was furious, I couldn’t let it show though as I held my hand out for her to take. She was already scared. “Hold my hand sweetheart, I’ll help you out.” She let me take her hand and guide her out. My God. Her face was bruised and swollen, one of her eyes was half shut. Her dressed was ripped and she had bruises on her arms and legs. He had f*****g hurt her. I’ll kill him. “Do you remember what happened? Who did this to you?” “I think it was Nathan. I don’t remember much. I was in the bar, you’re the bartender, aren’t you?” I nodded. I needed to phone Prez and tell him what happened. See if any of my brothers could find that bastard. I’ll need to phone Holgate. “I need to make a few phone calls sweetheart, do you want me to phone anyone for you?” “My mom, can you phone my mom please?” “Sure, type the number in, and I’ll call her now. What’s your name?” I asked. “Bella” She took the phone out of my hand and phoned her mom. I took the phone off her so I could speak to her mom, Bella was still confused about what had happened so I thought it would be best for me to call. “Hello?” “Hello, is this Bella’s mom?” “Yes, it is, where is she? Is she ok?” “Not really ma’am. She’s been hurt. I’m not too sure what’s happened as she doesn’t remember. My name is Axel and I work at Titans, can you come over here now? Or I could send someone to pick you up if you can’t?” “I’ll be there in ten minutes. Please tell me she’s ok?” I could hear her crying. “I’m not sure. She’s awake but she has bruises all over her and doesn’t remember what happened. I am about to phone the police and the paramedics.” “Ok. See you in ten minutes.” She hung up and I turned to Bella. “She’s on her way now Bella, she said she will be here in ten minutes.” Bella nodded. “I’ve got to report this to the police, ok? I’m going to give them a call now.” She nodded again. I picked up my phone and phoned my Prez, Ink. “Axel, It’s the middle of the night. Something better be wrong.” “A girl was attacked.” “Where?” “Outside the club, I found her ten minutes ago in a bush in the alley.” “Have you called Holgate?” “Not yet Prez, he’s next on my list.” “Ok, I’ll get some brothers and we’ll be there in five minutes.” “Prez.” And then he hung up. Bella was waiting for me to finish. “Are you ok?” I asked. “Yeah, I remembered something, he called me a cab, he said it would be better to wait outside for it to come. I wanted to go home, not with him though. I wasn’t interested in him. I just wanted to go home. How long have I been out here?” “You left at around ten, it’s now two in the morning. You’ve been here for about four hours.” “Oh my God, I told my mom I would be home by twelve. Was she mad?” “No, she wasn’t mad sweetheart, she was more worried than anything.” She nodded. We stood in silence for a few minutes, I could see that she was trying to remember what had happened. I could hear the bikes in the distance. Considering it was a Friday night, I didn’t think there would be many brothers sober enough to ride, but by the sounds of the engines, I knew there was a few. I turned to tell Bella that my brothers were nearly here but stopped as soon as I looked at her face, I knew. She had remembered what had happened, and judging by the tears streaming down her cheeks, it wasn’t good.
