Lila followed the woman through the winding corridors, her heart racing with anticipation.
As they turned a corner, Lila saw a door with a sign that read "Exit." Her heart skipped a beat.
The woman smiled and pushed the door open. "We're almost there," she said.
Lila's eyes adjusted to the bright light outside, and she saw that they were in a deserted alleyway.
The woman handed Lila a small device. "This will help you escape," she said.
Lila's fingers wrapped around the device, and she felt a surge of hope.
But just as they were about to make their move, a loud noise echoed through the alleyway. The woman's eyes locked onto something behind Lila.
Lila turned to see a group of figures emerging from the shadows. "It's them," the woman whispered. "We have to go now."
