Hannah’s phone rang while they were walking towards the ceremony. They sat at the back end of the garden hidden from her father’s sight.
“Hello?”
“Hannah! How could you do this?!” Kai yelled
“Isla got the documents?” Hannah chuckled.
“Oh yes, she did get it alright! How could you do this just now? You should have just told her, you had to wait for Johanne to say goodbye and break her heart.”
Hannah chuckled, “it wasn’t supposed to happen this way. This was supposed to be for fun but this issue with money happened. I’m sorry Kai.”
“I can’t believe you did this to-” Kai suddenly stopped talking.
“Isla wants to talk to you…” he angrily muttered.
Hannah smiled and sighed deeply. He watched as Johanne stood by the ceremonial wedding arch.
