Isla laid down on the couch and just kept a movie playing on TV. She didn’t realize that she dozed off from overthinking.
When she opened her eyes, she suddenly sat up. She thought she only closed her eyes for a few minutes but when she looked at the clock almost the entire day passed.
“5:00 o'clock?!?!” Isla gasped.
She became more worried now. She rushed to the bedroom and flipped the entire bed but her phone was nowhere to be found.
“Damn f*****g phone!”
She picked up the landline to make a call to the reception again.
“Good evening, Ms. Parker. What can I help you with?”
“Can you try and call Johanne again please?”
