Isla couldn't understand why she was nervous. She was with Kai inside of the elevator, going up to Hannah's penthouse.
"Do you think his family tried to lock him up because of me?" Isla suddenly asked.
"Don't think about that anymore. What matters is that you know Johanne didn't leave you. That he was just forced to stay at their mansion."
"I don't want them to hurt Johanne just because of me..." Isla said.
The elevator door opened and Kai walked out, "I don't think they'll go to that extent. They are his family after all."
Isla stopped walking, "but what if they do? Just so they could stop Johanne's relationship with me? When I saw his sister back at the condominium, she looked at me as if she hated me."
