Chapter 8: The Next Morning

A/N from here on out, I wont be jumping ages anymore. I may jump later on but right now, I dont plan on it.

I wake up wrapped tightly against a hard chest. Rolling over, I see the chest belonged to Josh.

"What are you doing in here?!" I yell as I jump out of bed. Panicking that I was sleeping next to Josh and not Lucas.

Josh sat up quickly, his hair a mess.

"You asked me to stay." He says while yawning and stretching. I couldnt help looking at his perfect abs.

"What happened last night?" I ask.

"I was driving home and found you on the bridge. You were crying. I brought you home and you said you didnt want to be alone, and asked me to stay." He said while getting up and grabbing his clothes. My eyes didnt miss his V, that led to his boxers and morning wood.

He smirked when he saw me checking him out. "My eyes are up here, Judey Girl." He says.

"Wh-wheres Lucas?" I asked, fighting the blush that was creeping up on my cheeks.

"I dont know. You were alone. When I asked you where he was, you said 'f**k Lucas." He said, trying to mimick my voice. He did a poor job.

I sat back down on the bed and tried to remember the night before. My phone started to ring, and I grabbed it. I missed the call but saw all the text messages from Lucas and Tiara.

Tiara: Jude, are you ok?

Tiara: Jude, this isnt funny. where did you go?

Tiara: Lucas f****d up, but dont cut me out.

Tiara: I called your uncle. he said you were asleep in your room. why are you with Josh?

Tiara: call me when you wake up. well talk about how to end Lucas and hide his body ;)

I was confused. What did Lucas do? I went to his text mesages.

Lucas: JuJu where are you?

Lucas: Im sorry Jude, please talk to me about this.

Lucas: Come back Jude! I still have to take you home.

Lucas: I swear she means nothing Jude.

Lucas: Call me when you get up, please lets talk about this.

Lucas: So you immediately run in to my brothers arms?

I sit on my bed, eyes filling with tears as the memories from last night flood my mind. Lucas cheated on me. WITH MIA. I can still see him sliding out of her, I see the images where their sexes met. I hear their moans.

"Hey Judey girl, what is it?" Josh says while crouching down in front of me.

"Lu-Lucas cheated on me." I struggle to get out. "With Mia!" I sob.

"I'll kill him." Josh says jumping up and heading towards the door. I didnt have any fight in me to try to stop him. I just laid back down and grabbed my pillow and sobbed in to it.

Later that day, I heard a knock on my door and Tiara came in.

"Hey babe. You doing ok?" She asked as she crawled in my bed.

"I cant get the images out of my head. I still see him inside of her T." I cry into her chest. She wraps her arms around me and rubs small circles on my back.

"What happened when you left J?" She asked.

"I was running home and stopped at the bridge. I was standing there looking over the edge and Josh pulled up to and got out. He drove me home, and carried me inside. I asked him to stay with me so I wasnt alone." I told her. I was starting to calm down. If Lucas didnt want to stay, I couldnt make him. We had a healthy s*x life, I just couldnt understand why he went to Mia. I wasnt going to let his chesting stop me from living my life though. I deserved better than that.

"I'm ok Tiara." I say. Suddenly I get this nauseous feeling in my stomach and run to the bathroom.

"Oooooo. Someone has a hangover." Tiara says while holding my hair back.

"The best way to treat it is to get a nice big greasy breakfast!" She said. She started the shower, and helped me in there.

"You get all nice and cleaned up. Ill pick out some clothes for you." She said excitedly. Tiara picking out my clothes means shes going to dress me like a barbie. Sighing, I wet my hair and started with shampooing/conditioning my hair. Then I washed my body. When I felt happy with my cleanliness, I got out of the shower. I went and grabbed my toothbrush and brushed my teeth hard. I brushed them 3 more times and used mouthwash twice. I started out of the bathroom and back in to my room when I heard Tiara talking.

"...and then she puked all over them." She laughs. " You shouldve seen the look on Mia's face. It was priceless. She got what she deserved." I walk in and see her talking to Josh. He turns and looks at me and I see his eye is swollen and his knuckles are bloodied.

"Josh! Are you ok?" I ask running up to him and grabbed his hands to inspect them.

"You should see the other guy." He responds with a chuckle. I pull him to the bathroom so I can clean hus knuckles.

"Sit" I tell him. I look through the cabinets and take out the gauze and alcohol.

"This might hurt a little." I say while pouring the alcohol on the gauze and rubbing it across his knuckles. Josh hissed from the pain. I was so focused on taking care of his hands, I forgot I was un a towel.

"Ope! Sorry Josh. I forgot I was in a towel." I say looking up at him. He was staring at my chest. I cleared my throat and his eyes shot up to meet mine.

"No complaints here." He said with a wink and smile. I started to blush and look down.

"Dont hide away from me." He said while grabbing my chin and pulling my eyes up to his. He leaned in and took my lips with his. I was shocked and just stood there while he kissed me. Butterflies filled my stomach. I kissed him back. Tears started to run down my face while we kissed. The butterflies went from soft little flutter to a painful feel. I shoved Josh out of the way and threw up in the toilet.

"If you didnt want to kiss me, you couldve just said that." He said with a chuckle. I groaned and leaned my head against my arm. Josh went to the cabinet and grabbed a wash cloth. After getting it wet, he placed it on the back of my neck.

"Sorry Judey Girl. I dont know what came over me." He whispered.

"Its ok Josh. I didnt mind it." I say, then got sick again. After I was sure there was nothing else that was coming out, Josh helped me up and over to the sink. He wetted my toothbrush and put toothpaste on it for me. To my surprise, he brushed my teeth for me. Im not sure if it was in my head, but it felt intimate.

"Thank you." I said while I rinsed out my mouth.

"Anything for my Judey Girl." He said with a wink. Then he scooped me up and carried me back to my bedroom. Tiara was still in my room and she just stared at us with an amused look on her face.

"Your legs forget how to work, J?" She said and arched her eyebrow. I blushed and Josh laughed.

"Sit." He told me. So I sat down at my vanity while he pulled my hair out of the towel. He grabbed my brush and started to brush my hair. Then he braided my hair. He hasnt braided my hair in years! It felt nice having him take care of me.

"Out out out!" Tiara said when Josh finished securing his braid. She smacked him on the arm and with a few "ows" and "oks" he was out the door. Tiara turned and looked at me

"That boys got it bad."

"No. He just takes care of me sometimes." I say. Josh has never had any feelings for me. He wouldnt start now.

"Mhmm." Was all she said. She fussed over my clothes and did a little make up on me. I felt good.

"Thanks Tiara!" I said when I got a look st myself. I felt beautiful.

"You got it babe." She said while linking her arms through mine. As we walked out of the room, I heard yelling at my front door.

Lucas was here, and Josh was pissed.
