NATHANIEL'S APARTMENT POV DESMOND I don't remember passing out. The last thing I could remember was Nathaniel looking at me with worry in his eyes. I heard voices now. They were speaking in a hushed and frantic tone. "Look, he's waking up," I heard Samuel say. My eyes felt heavy, but I forced them open. Nathaniel was still sitting on the bed next to me. Samuel and Dean were standing together at the end of the bed. I hesitated to push myself into a sitting position. I put my hands on the bed and pushed up slowly.
