WAREHOUSE POV DESMOND I drove straight to the warehouse. I wanted to get this over with and go back home. I parked my car out front and banged on the front door. The usual woman answered the door and let me in. She took my coat and left without telling me where to go. I looked around but the warehouse was unusually empty tonight. "Hamond?" I called. "Up here," I heard and looked up to see him standing on the second-floor landing. I turned and started walking up the stairs. Hamond was standing by a door that was past Thomas's meeting room. I had never been in any room besides that one. Hamond stepped aside and I walked into the room. There was only one light on in the corner, the light barely covered the whole room.
