Can I know who?” Kelvin was surprised as he inquired. He was about to work out who, when suddenly.
“ It was me.” A soft, soothing voice sounded behind Kelvin, which prompted him to turn around.
Kelvin turned around as if his temperament has changed, and asked coldly, “And you are?”
“We haven’t be formally introduced,” A young girl with long hair and slender legs said, stretching her hand, “I’m Carolina Cross from West Hills. I believe you’ve met my bodyguards,” She pointed at the men in suits standing at the side.
‘Cross, hmm, seems familiar, where have I heard of it before’ Kelvin’s expression froze for a moment before murmuring, “You must be Nathan Cross’s relative.”
Carolina smiled gently as she continued, “Can we have a little privacy to discuss matters?”
“Sure, why not.” Kelvin responded.

“Where are you taking me?”
“I’m bringing you to meet a few people, they are eager to see you!” Carolina said calmly as she drove the car.
The car sped away and arrived at a bar’s entrance.
Petronia City’s most luxurious bar, the Golden city!
It could be assumed that the minimum spending for two in this bar for a night is would be 10 thousand!
Although day time, there were still many luxurious cars parked at the entrance. Those who come here are the financially capable.
“What are we doing at a place like this?” asked Kelvin as he got down the car.
He disliked such places as he found them too noisy.
“To give you a surprise.” Carolina replied, leading the way. “Young Master Johnson, the boss of Golden City is an old acquaintance of yours, Sean Brown.”
Sean Brown?
Oh, Kelvin remembered now. Initially he was just a general worker but after showing outstanding results, he was one of the few Kelvin had invested his money in when Sean approached him asking for him to help start his own business.
Kelvin did not expect that Sean would own Golden City. He did not let him down.
“Young master please head inside first and wait for me in room number 888,” said Carolina as he bowed slightly.
Carolina left before waiting for Kelvin to respond.
Kelvin sighed and went into private room 888.
‘No wonder the bar is famous, even the ushers are beauties.’ Kelvin smiled ashe took a seat.
“Oh? Sorry, thought th…” a voice was heard at the door, “Kelvin what are you doing here?”
Kelvin subconsciously turned his head around and was stunned. Behind him was a gorgeous woman, wearing a pair of skin-tight jeans and looking seductively sexy. It was Jade Perry.
“How does that concern you?”Said Kelvin coldly.
“You!” Jade bit her lips, she was extremely happy today as she had come to negotiate a promotion with her boss, Sean Brown. He rarely came here as he had a lot of businesses under him. If she was able to get a promotion from him, her career would soar. She would earn at least one million a year with bonuses and commission!
Hence she has been paying attention to his every move since he came this morning. She knew he had reserved room 888 and wanted to take this opportunity to serve them personally.
She did not expect to meet her friends husband, Kelvin, here!
“ I am the manager of this place!” She yelled, “Let me tell you, no Tom, d**k or Harry is welcomed here. Only extinguished guest are allowed here. With your uncouth look and shabby appearance, the prestige of this establishment would be on a decline.” Jade said as she looked at Kelvin from head to toe.
Kelvin was about to reply when a burly man in suit came to Jade’s side and asked, “Miss Jade, who is this? Do you need me to teach him a lesson?”
Jade laughed and said, “Kelvin, do you know who this man beside me is? He is the head of security for Mr. Sean Brown’s businesses. He accompanies him everywhere, if you do not tell me why you are here, don’t you think it is only right for me to throw you out?”
There was no mistake, this burly man was true to his identity.
After all many gangsters and hooligans like to cause trouble to big businesses and as such bouncers and retired security personnel were hired to take care of such situations.
“Skinny guy, did you hear that? Tell us how you came here or else” Said the burly man in a contempt as he took a step forward.
Kelvin just smiled, he did not want to bother with and just went in to take a seat.
“Stop right there!”
The burly man shouted as he saw Kelvin taking a seat in room 888. He knew that this was the room Mr. Sean had reserved to meet with an important person.
‘Could it be this guy that Mr. Sean is meeting?’ He thought, ‘No, that person is supposed to be an important person, how can he be this shabbily dressed.’ He concluded that Kelvin must be looking for trouble!
All equipment in the room were gold-plated, and was personally reserved by his own boss, Sean Brown!
Kelvin had already sat down inside, holding up a cup of tea preparing to drink it.
‘Hahaha! It was over for Kelvin this time!’
Jade felt joyous in her heart. ‘Kelvin really is a piece of work, just like how Selina described him. He really is stupid and does not know his own limits.’
“Are you deaf? Can’t you hear me?” The burly man shouted as he strode forward to grab Kelvin by the collar, intending to beat him up.
BANG!
Jade stared wide-eyed as she couldn’t believe her eyes. Just as The burly man was about to grab Kelvin’s shoulder, with a series of extremely fast movement, the burly man was beaten to the ground and groaning in pain.
Kelvin sat at his seat calmly as he sipped his tea, looking Jade straight in the eye.
