New moment

It had been a few weeks since Sophia and Colby decided to start fresh. They had put their past differences behind them and were working on building a stronger connection. Sophia couldn't help but notice the change in Colby's demeanor. He seemed more relaxed, more himself.

As they walked through the park, Colby turned to Sophia with a smile. "Hey, want to grab some ice cream with me?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Sophia's heart skipped a beat. She loved seeing this side of Colby, the side that was carefree and fun.

"I'd love to," Sophia replied, smiling back at him.

When they arrived at the shop, Colby surprised Sophia by getting her favorite flavor, strawberry. "How did you remember?" Sophia asked, her eyes wide with surprise.

As they sat down to enjoy their ice cream, Sophia turned to Colby with a smile. "Thanks for doing this, Colby. It means a lot to me."

Colby's expression softened, and he reached out to brush a strand of hair behind Sophia's ear. "I want to make you happy, Sophia," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

"Do you feel like we're really working?" Sophia asked, her heart pounding in her chest.
