New Beginnings

Jackson's pov As I reassured my mate, I looked at Jasper and demanded. " Please mind link the omegas and get them to bring two buses so we can safely transport all the pups to the pack land. " Jasper left and immediately mind linked the packs omegas. I watched my mate with such calmness as the pups surrounded her with love. They looked up to her as a mother-like figure. She will be a perfect Luna and mother to our pups. As Sandy started gathering what little belongings she and the pups had, I toured the mansion to see just to what extent this abuse had gone. I went to each room and found feces in corners and chains hidden under beds. They weren't just any bed , it was mainly a blanket on the floor, and the chains were bolted under each blanket. I bound cups and bottles of just pure dryness. Food bowls filled with scraps I wouldn't even feed to my enemies. Maggots surround garbage and scraps in the pup's bowls. It was just enough for me to stop investigating, and I really felt the horror these poor children had been put through. I also found a sign hanging up in a tree that said "Every orphan has found a forever home". I was so angry, I wished I could bring Cyro back only to kill him again with my bare hands. As the pups and our mate started descending the stairs and headed out to get on the buses, I followed my mate , mind linking the omegas to bring out Jerry cans and soak the mansion in gasoline. Something in my mate was dark , and I liked it . I watched her as her eyes went black, allowing her wolf out. As she watched the omegas light the mansion on fire, my wolf could almost sense her wolf. It was the most intense feeling I have felt in a long time. Making me hard. As we all watched the mansion burn down, the feeling was overwhelming. I blame my mate. Somehow the mate bond made me feel things I never thought I would. All the pups got on the bus and I suddenly grabbed Sandy's arm, pulling her towards the suv. " You do not belong on that bus, one ride with me. " She hesitated . " Thank you, but those children need me with them, " she argued. Not giving it another thought, I let her go as she pleased. I wanted nothing more than to make her feel safe and to trust me. After 35 minutes, we arrived back on pack lands and everybody was waiting for our arrival! It was almost like an event. Sandy was the first one to descend the bus following the pups. My pack was caring and greeting everyone with open arms. Most of the couples fell instantly in love with the pups and brought them home as their own. The remaining pups stayed with Sandy in the pack house. The pack house had three levels. The first level had the living room, dining room, kitchen and entrance to the backyard. The second level is where all my trusted beta and omegas stayed, if they weren't mated, of course. The third level is where I stayed and, of course, where my Luna would stay until she moves into my room. With many other rooms for my immediate family when they came to visit us. Each room was open with a lounge area, fireplace and king-sized bed. A master bathroom with a soaked tub and walk-in glass shower. " Alpha Jackson? " Brian, one of my trustworthy omegas, linked me. " It is diner time. Would you care to join us? " As the families took some of the pups home with them, I looked at my beautiful mate and told her, " You must be starving. Please, come join me for dinner. " Sandy looked at the other pups and with concern, she replied. " Wha.. What about the others? " I looked down at the dozen pups, I said to them with a soft smile, " Why don't we all go in and eat dinner. " All the pups cheered and, in an instant, they ran inside in search of the dining room table. We didn't have enough seats for all the pups. But amusingly, my pack stood up and gave up their seats for a pup. The way they were getting to sit at a table seemed new to them, not knowing how to sit properly or how to put their plates down on the table. I took it upon myself to show them how it was done. Pulling my chair back, sitting neatly down and placing my plate right in front of me on the table, the pups followed my lead. I look up to find her gazing at me and couldn't help but notice the warm smile she had as I was showing the pups how to properly eat at a table.
