My Hero

'Sandy's POV

I closed my eyes tight, as the door swung open. I held my breath in fear. I was so focused on the little girl's grip, that the smell of cinnamon buns and musky fall mornings almost got away from me. " What the f**k is this? " I heard a deep voice and a loud growl come out of the Alpha's mouth. Realizing he was referring to me and the little girl on the floor in a corner. I heard Cyro stutter at the Alpha's voice. " Alpha, they are just two orphans acting like children, haha, you know what I mean. " Cyro rudely nudged Alpha with his elbow, then rubbed the back of his head with his hand.

I opened my eyes just enough to see the Alpha starring at me. I couldn't look him in the eye. I was too afraid he would kill me for doing so , as he already sounded angry enough. I heard footsteps nearing us and I shut my eyes once again, gripping tighter to the little girl. Whispering to her, "It's alright, I won't let anyone hurt you. " As I felt the vibration of his steps come to a halt, the little girl and I became as quiet as can be and held our breaths.

It felt like an eternity before anything happened. But to my surprise, I felt a soft hand brush my bruised cheek. It was the softest touch I have felt since my father had told me he loved me. My body went limp as my mind went back to the last memory I had of my parents. " Everything is going to be alright. " I heard a soft but still deep voice that shook and vibrated my core. " You don't have to be afraid of me, please open your eyes and look at me. " I tightened my eyes even harder not trusting his words. All I ever knew was he was a hard-core killer. I was next on his list. Maybe because I wasn't enough for this place.

" DAMN IT, OPEN YOUR f*****g EYES!!! "He demanded. Unsure why, but out of fear I obeyed him. I looked him right in the eyes and then something unexplainable happened. A faint voice in my head came through. It sounded like someone far away but nearing and a slow rate. Closer and closer it became louder.

" Sandy! "She whispered to me. The closer it got, the clearer her voice was. " Sandy! " It's me, Shilo. I'm your wolf. I thought to myself i was going crazy because I could just hear a voice but couldn't see her. I closed my eyes once again to focus on her voice. And there she was. My wolf. Beautiful silver and white with piercing blue eyes and the voice of an angel. Her beauty and stance were so mesmerizing. I almost forgot where I was and who was standing in front of me.

" Listen to him! I am not sure why, but something tells me we need to trust him and stay beside him! I feel that he is our hero. "He can protect us from any harm. " Shilo tried to convince me. Oddly enough, it worked. I opened my eyes anew only to find the Alpha gazing at me with a soft smile on his face. Oh how handsome he is , I said to myself. He was tall and muscular with tattoos under his neck and from what I can see, possibly his entire body, leaving his perfectly shaped face untouched.

He had green eyes and short black hair, and messy looking in a way that complimented his face. His jawbone was so defined that it took every ounce in me to not reach out to trace it with my fingertips. I noticed his face changing from a soft smile to someone wanting to devour me. I immediately looked away as my cheeks turned red. Then I heard a small giggle leaving his soft but yet tasty-looking lips. The little girl untightened her grip on my arm and looked up at me, noticing my shyness and giggled. As he noticed the little girl in my lap holding onto my arm, he assured her she would be alright.

As Alpha Jackson continued to stare at the little girl a little longer he noticed something that was alarming to him. " What is your name little one? " He asked her. " um uhhh, mum,,SSSS....SSSTT.... Stell... Stella your majesty. " Stella stuttered in fear. " Stella... hmm... "That is quite a beautiful name you have there. "And what is your mommy's name? " He then asked Stella. " HEHE She's not my mommy , she's like my big sister, your funny Alpha Jackson. " Touched by her response he smiled softly at Stella.
