Adnan's POV My whole body froze. I couldn't move. I just stood there my gaze fixated at the face I never thought I'd see again. I didn't even realize when I let go of Jaan's hand and took a sharp inhale of breath. The face was looking at me with a smug look on her face. She hadn't changed a bit. If anything she'd become more beautiful, except for the part where I couldn't move my gaze too. I didn't want to look. It was a reminder of my mistakes, her betrayal.
